30ml perfume glass bottle manufacturers

When sourcing 30ml perfume bottles, you must prioritize glass clarity (flint glass) and wall thickness consistency. High-quality bottles should use Super Flint Glass for maximum transparency. Ensure the neck finish (e.g., 15mm FEA or 18/415) matches your pump sprayer precisely to prevent leakage. Additionally, check the brimful capacity, which should be slightly higher than 30ml to allow for the displacement of the pump and air expansion.

Perfumes contain high concentrations of alcohol and essential oils, which can react with inferior materials. You must ensure the glass is chemically inert (Type III glass or higher). For the internal components of the pump, request POM-free or medical-grade PE/PP materials to avoid fragrance distortion or 'clouding' of the liquid over time. Conduct a vacuum leak test and a compatibility test for at least 4 weeks before mass production.

To differentiate your brand, consider electroplating (UV coating) for a metallic finish, internal lacquering for a deep color effect, or acid frosting for a matte texture. For logos, silk-screen printing is cost-effective, while hot stamping (gold/silver foil) or decal firing offers a more premium feel. Ensure the supplier uses lead-free inks that comply with REACH or FDA standards to avoid scratching or peeling during handling.

Suppliers should provide ISO 9001 certification for quality management. For the US market, ensure compliance with CFR Title 16 (if applicable to child-resistant packaging) and California Proposition 65 regarding heavy metal content in glass and pigments. For the EU, the materials must meet EC No 1223/2009 cosmetic regulations, ensuring no harmful substances migrate from the packaging into the fragrance.

Glass is fragile, so you must mandate five-layer corrugated export cartons with egg-crate dividers (cell partitions). For bulk orders, insist on palletization with plastic wrap and corner protectors. Request a Drop Test Report (ISTA 1A or 2A) from the supplier. On Made-in-China.com, look for 'Audited Suppliers' who have experience in fragile goods logistics to ensure they use proper dunnage materials.

Glass production is energy-intensive and relies on continuous furnace operation. Standard molds usually have lower MOQs (e.g., 5,000–10,000 units), whereas custom molds require higher volumes (30,000+ units). Negotiate by offering a staggered delivery schedule or a deposit for mold costs that is refundable after reaching a certain volume. Always ask for unit price tiers (e.g., 10k vs 50k units) to understand the manufacturer's margin.

Use Secured Payment services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. Hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform an AQL 2.5/4.0 inspection before the final payment. Focus on checking for air bubbles, stones in glass, uneven bottoms, and neck thread defects which are common in low-end production runs.

Empty glass bottles are not hazardous, but they are heavy and high-volume, making sea freight the most economical choice. Use FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain control over your shipping costs and choice of forwarder. Ensure the HS Code (7010.90) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays. Be aware of anti-dumping duties that some regions (like the EU) may impose on Chinese glass products, and verify this with your local customs broker beforehand.
