Adult products manufacturers

When sourcing adult products, material safety is the highest priority. You must ensure products are made from medical-grade silicone, phthalate-free TPE/TPR, or borosilicate glass. Always request RoHS and REACH certification to ensure the absence of heavy metals and hazardous chemicals. For the US market, compliance with California Proposition 65 is often required to avoid legal risks regarding chemical exposure.

Focus on lithium-ion battery safety certifications (such as UN38.3 or UL 1642) to prevent overheating or leakage. Technical specs should include IPX7 waterproofing for easy cleaning and versatility. Additionally, verify the decibel level (ideally <50dB) for discretion and the motor vibration frequency stability to ensure a premium user experience and product longevity.

Electronic adult products must carry the CE mark for the European Union and FCC certification for the United States to ensure electromagnetic compatibility. If the product includes wireless or Bluetooth features, SRRC or local radio frequency certifications are necessary. Ensure the manufacturer provides a Declaration of Conformity (DoC) to facilitate smooth customs clearance.

Request life-cycle test reports from the supplier, specifically focusing on button press durability (e.g., 5,000+ cycles) and battery charge-discharge cycles (at least 300-500 cycles). For moving parts, ensure the use of high-torque, low-noise motors that do not lose power under pressure.

Adult products are sensitive in many jurisdictions. Ensure the HS Code (typically 9019.10 or 3926.90) is used correctly and that packaging is discreet and neutral without explicit imagery. Check the import regulations of the destination country (e.g., Middle Eastern markets have strict prohibitions) to avoid total loss of cargo.

When using Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone third-party verification. Negotiate for OEM/ODM customization such as private labeling and custom molds, but ensure you sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to protect your intellectual property. Request a tiered pricing structure where the unit price drops by 10-20% as volume increases.

Utilize secure payment methods offered by the platform and consider hiring a third-party inspection service (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). This ensures the goods match the approved sample before the final balance is paid. For shipping, use reputable freight forwarders experienced in handling sensitive electronics to manage lithium battery shipping declarations properly.

Establish a clear Defective Rate Agreement; typically, a rate above 1-2% should trigger a refund or replacement in the next shipment. Since returning individual units internationally is cost-prohibitive, negotiate for a 1-3% spare parts allowance or a credit note for future orders to cover potential functional failures.
