Aerosol insecticide spray manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize formulations based on the target pest and environment. Common active ingredients include Pyrethroids (e.g., Cypermethrin, Permethrin) for rapid knockdown and Organophosphates for residual control. For eco-conscious markets, look for botanical-based sprays (e.g., Pyrethrin or Neem oil). Ensure the solvent base (water-based vs. oil-based) aligns with the use case; water-based formulas are generally less flammable and have lower odor, making them ideal for indoor residential use.

Aerosol insecticides are classified as hazardous goods. You must verify that the supplier provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a Certificate of Analysis (COA). For the US market, EPA registration is mandatory; for the EU, compliance with BPR (Biocidal Products Regulation) and REACH is required. Additionally, the aerosol cans must meet UN38.3 or FEA standards for pressure resistance to prevent leakage or explosion during transit.

The effectiveness of the product depends heavily on the valve and actuator system. Ensure the spray pattern is consistent (mist vs. jet) and that the nozzle is clog-resistant. The tinplate or aluminum can should have an internal anti-corrosion coating to prevent the formula from eating through the metal over time. Request leakage tests (hot water bath test) reports to ensure the integrity of the seals under high-temperature conditions.

Standard aerosol insecticides typically have a shelf life of 2 to 3 years. Buyers should ensure the manufacturing date is clearly stamped on each unit. Storage must be in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse away from direct sunlight and heat sources (below 50°C). When sourcing from Made-in-China.com, confirm if the supplier offers UV-resistant ink for the outer packaging to prevent fading during long-term storage.

Aerosols are classified as Class 2.1 (Flammable Gas) or Class 2.2 (Non-flammable Gas) under the IMDG Code. They must be shipped in UN-certified dangerous goods (DG) packaging. You must work with a freight forwarder experienced in DG cargo and ensure the vessel provides a Dangerous Goods Declaration. Shipping via air is extremely restricted and costly; sea freight is the standard for bulk B2B orders.

Always use Trade Assurance or Escrow services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your payment. Before full payment, hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a random sampling test to verify the active ingredient concentration matches the contract specifications. Never bypass the platform's secure payment system for 'direct wire' discounts.

Focus on the concentration of active ingredients and the can weight (grammage). Suppliers may offer lower prices by reducing the active percentage or using thinner metal for the cans. Negotiate based on Total Volume (MOQ); for orders exceeding one 20ft container, you can typically negotiate a 5-10% discount. Also, request OEM/Private Labeling costs to be bundled into the unit price for better brand margins.

Customs in most countries require a Pesticide Import Permit. Ensure your supplier provides a Health Certificate and a Certificate of Origin. On Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have experience exporting to your specific region, as they will be familiar with the HS Code (typically 3808.91) and the necessary documentation to avoid port delays.
