Aerosol spray insecticide manufacturers

Selecting the correct chemical formulation is critical for efficacy. For crawling insects like cockroaches, look for Cypermethrin or Deltamethrin for strong knockdown effects. For flying insects like mosquitoes, Tetramethrin or Prallethrin are preferred due to their rapid paralysis capabilities. Always ensure the concentration levels are clearly labeled and meet the safety standards of your target market.

Aerosol cans are pressurized vessels and must meet strict structural requirements. Ensure the tinplate thickness is sufficient to withstand internal pressure (typically 1.2MPa to 1.5MPa burst pressure). The valve and nozzle system should provide a consistent spray rate (g/s) and particle size to ensure effective coverage without excessive waste. Verify that the propellant used (LPG or DME) is high-purity to avoid unpleasant odors.

Insecticides are regulated as hazardous chemicals and biocides. You must verify the supplier has a Pesticide Registration Certificate and a Production License. For international trade, a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a UN38.3/Dangerous Goods Transport Certificate are mandatory. Ensure the product complies with regional standards such as EPA (USA), REACH (EU), or local Ministry of Agriculture registrations.

Modern consumers prefer low-odor or scented formulas (e.g., lemon, lavender, or jasmine) to mask chemical smells. From an environmental perspective, prioritize water-based formulas over oil-based ones, as they are generally less flammable and have lower VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions, making them more eco-friendly and safer for indoor use.

Aerosols are classified as Class 2.1 or 2.2 Dangerous Goods (UN1950). They cannot be shipped via standard air mail. You must use specialized DG (Dangerous Goods) containers for sea freight. Ensure the outer cartons have the correct hazard diamond labels and that the supplier provides a Container Packing Certificate to avoid customs seizures or fines at the port of entry.

To ensure payment security, use secured payment terms and conduct factory audits via third-party inspectors. On Made-in-China.com, look for 'Audited Suppliers' who have undergone on-site verification. Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to check the leakage rate and net weight of the cans before the final balance is paid.

Price is heavily influenced by the active ingredient percentage and the weight of the tinplate. Negotiate based on volume tiers; typically, orders exceeding 30,000 cans (a full 20GP container) can reduce unit costs by 10-20%. Additionally, discuss OEM/private label design costs, as many top-tier suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer free packaging design services for bulk long-term contracts.
