Aluminium kitchen cabinet doors manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize 6063-T5 grade aluminium alloy for the frame, as it offers the best balance of strength and corrosion resistance. The profile thickness should be at least 1.2mm to 1.5mm to prevent warping under the weight of glass or composite panels. Additionally, ensure the surface treatment uses anodizing (10-15 microns) or powder coating (60-80 microns) to provide a durable, scratch-resistant finish that withstands high humidity and heat in kitchen environments.

For glass inserts, always specify 3C certified tempered glass or 5mm explosion-proof glass to ensure user safety. If using composite panels, verify they are formaldehyde-free (E0 grade) and have a waterproof core. The seal between the aluminium frame and the panel should use high-quality EPDM rubber gaskets or neutral silicone sealant to prevent moisture ingress and rattling.

Confirm that the aluminium profiles are pre-drilled or compatible with standard 35mm concealed hinges (such as Blum or DTC standards). For handle-less designs, check the integration of G-shape or J-shape integrated profiles. It is critical to verify the load-bearing capacity of the corner connectors, as reinforced zinc alloy or stainless steel brackets are necessary to maintain 90-degree structural integrity over long-term use.

Suppliers should provide ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management. For exports to the EU, ensure compliance with REACH and RoHS regarding heavy metals in coatings. For the US market, verify that any wood-based composite inserts comply with CARB Phase 2 or TSCA Title VI regulations. Fire-retardant ratings (Class A or B1) are also highly recommended for kitchen applications.

Aluminium profiles are prone to scratching and denting. Insist on PE protective film on every visible surface, followed by EPE foam wrapping and 5-layer corrugated cardboard boxes. For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, require wooden crates or palletization to prevent compression damage. Always include a 1-2% spare parts allowance for gaskets and corner connectors.

Focus on the weight-based pricing vs. unit-based pricing; professional suppliers usually quote based on the weight of the aluminium used plus processing fees. Request a breakdown of the alloy grade and surface treatment costs. To secure better terms, offer a staged procurement plan rather than a one-off order, and ask for free samples of the corner joints and profile cross-sections to verify thickness before committing to a bulk deposit.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure payment is only released upon proof of shipment. Hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a 'During Production Check' (DUPRO) and a 'Final Random Inspection' (FRI). The inspection must include a cross-cut adhesion test for the paint and a salt spray test report to verify corrosion resistance.

Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties (ADD) that some countries (like the US or Australia) impose on aluminium extrusions from specific regions. Check the HS Code (typically 761010) against your local customs tariff schedule. For shipping, FOB (Free On Board) is generally preferred for experienced buyers to control freight costs, but ensure the supplier provides a detailed packing list that matches the dimensions required for efficient container loading.
