Bank atm cards manufacturers

When sourcing ATM cards, the most critical component is the EMV Chip (Europay, Mastercard, and Visa). You must ensure the chips are JCOP (Java Card Open Platform) based or compatible with global payment networks. The physical card should be made of high-quality PVC, PET, or Polycarbonate, with a standard thickness of 0.76mm (CR80 standard). Additionally, specify the EEPROM memory size (typically 40kb to 80kb) to ensure it can handle multi-application banking software.

Suppliers must hold ISO 7810 and ISO 7816 certifications for physical dimensions and contact interface. For payment security, the manufacturer's facility should ideally be PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant. If you are distributing cards for major networks, ensure the products meet Visa/Mastercard/UnionPay logical and physical security requirements to prevent unauthorized data cloning.

Request samples to test peel strength and bending resistance to ensure the card doesn't delaminate after repeated ATM insertions. For security, incorporate OVI (Optically Variable Ink), UV printing, micro-text, and holographic overlays. These features are essential for visual authentication and to prevent sophisticated forgery in the banking sector.

Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer extensive customization, including magnetic stripe encoding (HiCo/LoCo), contactless NFC capabilities (Dual Interface), and various finishes like matte, frosted, or metallic. You can also request thermal printing or laser engraving for cardholder names and account numbers during the personalization phase.

Always use Secure Payment services provided by the platform to ensure funds are only released after you confirm receipt of the goods. For high-value orders, consider Third-Party Inspection services (like SGS or Intertek) to audit the factory's security protocols, ensuring that sensitive data or card molds are not leaked during the production process.

ATM cards (especially those with chips) may be classified under HS Code 8523.52. Be aware that some countries have strict import regulations on encryption technology. Ensure the supplier provides a clear Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Certificate of Origin. For security, use tracked express couriers (DHL/FedEx) and consider tamper-evident packaging to prevent interception during transit.

The typical MOQ for custom banking cards is 500 to 1,000 units. To get the best pricing, aim for volume tiers of 10,000+ units, which can reduce costs by 20-40%. Negotiate a lead time of 15-25 days, allowing for the complex chip embedding and testing phases. Always request a pre-production sample for functional testing in an actual ATM/POS terminal before authorizing full-scale production.
