Car ac parts manufacturers

The compressor is the heart of the AC system. You must verify the OEM compatibility, refrigerant type (typically R134a or R1234yf), and clutch groove configuration (e.g., 6PK or 7PK). Ensure the supplier uses high-quality seals and bearings to prevent leakage and noise. For B2B procurement, prioritize units that have undergone 100% helium leak testing and performance durability testing.

Look for parts manufactured using Parallel Flow technology, which offers significantly higher heat exchange efficiency than older tube-and-fin designs. Material choice is critical; high-grade aluminum alloys provide better corrosion resistance. Always check for fin density and tube thickness to ensure the part can withstand high-pressure environments without bursting.

Suppliers should ideally hold IATF 16949 certification, which is the international standard for automotive quality management systems. Additionally, products should meet SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) standards for pressure and temperature performance. For European markets, ensure compliance with REACH and RoHS regarding chemical substances in gaskets and hoses.

Calculate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by factoring in the unit price, failure rates, and warranty terms. While a lower unit price is attractive, a failure rate above 1% can erode profits through return shipping and labor claims. Seek suppliers on Made-in-China.com who offer tiered pricing and consolidated shipping to reduce landed costs per unit.

The primary risks include incompatibility with local vehicle models (regional variations in car specs) and damage during transit due to the fragile nature of aluminum fins. To mitigate this, request customized reinforced packaging and verify the OEM cross-reference numbers multiple times before production begins.

Negotiate for a warranty period of at least 12 to 24 months. Since returning defective heavy parts is often cost-prohibitive, aim for a 'defect rate allowance' (e.g., 1-2% extra units provided free of charge) or a credit refund policy based on photographic and video evidence of the failure.

For condensers and evaporators, palletization is mandatory to prevent crushing. For compressors, ensure they are shipped with proper oil levels or nitrogen charging as per the shipping regulation for pressurized or lubricated mechanical parts. Use FOB (Free On Board) terms if you have a reliable freight forwarder to maintain better control over the shipping timeline and costs.

Utilize the Secured Trading services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods are shipped. Conduct third-party factory audits or request a production video call to verify the supplier's manufacturing capacity and QC processes before transferring large deposits.
