China borehole inspection camera manufacturers

For deep-well environments, you must prioritize waterproof ratings (IP68) and pressure resistance, typically up to 20-50 Bar depending on depth. Ensure the camera head features 360-degree rotation (Pan/Tilt) to inspect casing walls thoroughly. The cable length should match your maximum drilling depth (common ranges are 100m to 2000m), and the tensile strength of the cable must be sufficient to support the equipment's weight without stretching.

Look for cameras equipped with adjustable high-intensity LEDs to prevent glare while illuminating dark voids. The resolution should be at least 700TVL or 1080P HD for clear fracture detection. Additionally, verify if the system includes digital zoom and on-screen display (OSD) for real-time depth measurement, which is essential for pinpointing the exact location of well defects.

Suppliers should ideally hold ISO 9001 certification for manufacturing consistency. For hazardous environments (like mining or gas wells), check for Explosion-proof certifications (Ex-proof). The housing should be constructed from 304 or 316 stainless steel to resist corrosion from mineralized groundwater or chemical treatments used in the well.

These cameras are primarily used for hydrogeological logging, well maintenance and repair, borehole imaging for mining, and underwater construction inspection. They are vital for identifying casing damage, sediment buildup, and blockage locations, helping operators avoid costly drilling failures.

Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) or a live video demonstration of the specific unit being tested in a pressurized water tank. Utilize Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure payment is only released after the shipping documents are verified. Furthermore, choose Audited Suppliers on the platform to ensure the factory's physical existence and production capacity.

Borehole cameras with long cables are heavy and classified as precision electronics. Ensure the supplier uses fumigated wooden crates for sea freight to prevent physical damage. Clarify the HS Code (typically 8525.89) with your customs broker to determine import duties and check if your country requires specific electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) certifications.

Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), including spare parts like extra camera glass and O-rings. Ask for a tiered pricing structure where the unit price drops by 10-15% for orders exceeding 5 units. Request a 12 to 24-month warranty and confirm the availability of technical video support for troubleshooting, as returning heavy equipment for repair is logistically expensive.

Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. Use official corporate accounts verified by the platform. For high-value transactions, consider Letter of Credit (L/C) or the escrow services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your capital until the goods are dispatched according to the agreed-upon Incoterms (e.g., FOB or CIF).
