E waste shredder price manufacturers

The price is primarily driven by the motor power (kW), blade material, and throughput capacity (kg/h). For E-waste, you must ensure the blades are made of high-strength alloy steel (such as D2, SKD-11, or DC53) to handle circuit boards and metal casings. A dual-shaft design is standard for E-waste to provide high torque and low speed, which minimizes dust and noise while maximizing shearing force.

You must match the shredder to your specific waste stream. For small electronics (phones, PCBs), a single-shaft shredder with a screen may suffice for uniform output. However, for bulky items (refrigerators, washing machines, or server racks), a heavy-duty double-shaft or four-shaft shredder is required. Ensure the equipment includes overload protection and an auto-reverse function to prevent motor burnout when encountering unshreddable materials.

For international trade, the machine must have a CE Certification for safety and ISO 9001 for manufacturing quality. Since E-waste processing generates hazardous dust, look for suppliers offering integrated dust collection systems and explosion-proof motors if you are processing lithium-ion batteries. Compliance with WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directives in your target market is also essential for operational legality.

A high-quality E-waste shredder is a capital investment where durability reduces long-term costs. While cheaper models exist, they often lead to high maintenance costs due to frequent blade wear. A professional-grade machine should offer a blade lifespan of 800-1,000 hours before sharpening. Calculate your ROI based on the purity of the output; better shredding allows for more efficient downstream separation of precious metals like copper and gold.

Prioritize 'Audited Suppliers' on Made-in-China.com, as they have undergone third-party verification of their facilities. Request a video walk-through of the factory and ask for FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) reports. It is highly recommended to hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a pre-shipment inspection to ensure the machine matches the agreed-upon technical specifications.

Do not just negotiate on the base price; negotiate for wear-part packages. Ask the supplier to include two extra sets of alloy blades and a spare motor/PLC at a discounted rate. Furthermore, clarify the warranty terms—ensure it covers the main motor and gearbox for at least 12 to 24 months, and confirm that technical support is available via video call for installation.

Industrial shredders are heavy and sensitive to moisture. Insist on vacuum packaging or anti-rust oil coating for the blades and electronic components. The machine should be secured in a reinforced wooden crate (IPPC certified) or bolted directly to the container floor (FR or OT containers for oversized units). Ensure the Incoterms are clearly defined; CIF or DAP are common, but FOB gives you more control over the shipping timeline and costs.

Use Secured Payment services provided by professional platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until shipping documents are verified. Avoid transferring large sums to private bank accounts. Use a Letter of Credit (L/C) for very high-value orders or a 30/70 T/T split, where the final 70% is only paid after receiving the Bill of Lading (B/L) and inspection photos.
