Empty perfume bottles for sale manufacturers

When sourcing empty perfume bottles, prioritize High-White Glass (Super Flint Glass) for its superior clarity and brilliance, which enhances the perceived value of the fragrance. Ensure the glass is lead-free and chemically inert to prevent reactions with perfume oils. For luxury positioning, look for bottles with a thick base (heavy bottom) to provide stability and a premium hand-feel.

The sprayer is the most critical functional component. Specify a dosage of 0.05ml to 0.1ml per spray for consistent application. Ensure the pump uses 'Invisible Dip Tube' technology for high-end aesthetics. For caps, verify the fitment—magnetic closures are trending for luxury lines, while Surlyn caps offer high transparency and chemical resistance against alcohol cracks.

To differentiate your brand, evaluate suppliers offering Silk-screen printing, Hot stamping, Frosting, and Color Coating (Lacquering). For complex designs, Electroplating provides a metallic finish. Always request a pre-production sample to verify color accuracy (Pantone matching) and adhesion strength through a tape pull test.

Standard neck sizes like FEA 15, FEA 18, or GPI 18/415 must match the pump precisely. Conduct a vacuum leakage test (typically -0.05MPa for 5 minutes) to ensure no leakage during air transport. It is highly recommended to perform a 12-week compatibility test between your specific fragrance oil and the bottle/pump components to check for clouding or pump failure.

The biggest risk is breakage during transit. Ensure the supplier uses export-standard five-layer corrugated cartons with honeycomb dividers or individual bubble wrapping. For bulk orders, insist on palletization with plastic wrap and corner protectors to minimize manual handling shocks. Always clarify the allowable breakage rate (usually 1-3%) in the contract.

Focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for lower MOQs on stock bottles if you are a startup, but push for mold fee rebates once cumulative order volumes reach a certain threshold (e.g., 50,000 units). Use Made-in-China.com's Diamond Member status as a filter to find verified manufacturers with audited production lines.

Ensure the glass meets FDA or EU Food Grade standards if required, and that all coatings are BPA-free and REACH compliant. For the US market, ensure the packaging complies with CPSR (Cosmetic Product Safety Report) requirements. Request heavy metal testing reports (lead, cadmium, mercury) to avoid customs seizures.

Utilize Secured Trading Services on platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until shipping. Hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform an AQL 2.5/4.0 inspection before the final balance is paid. This inspection should cover visual defects like bubbles, scratches, and uneven glass distribution.
