Food electric car manufacturers

When sourcing a food electric car, you must prioritize the battery capacity and motor power. Look for a lead-acid or lithium battery with at least 60V/100Ah to ensure a range of 60-80km per charge. The motor should be a brushless DC motor (3000W to 5000W) to handle the weight of kitchen equipment and climb inclines. Additionally, ensure the chassis is made of galvanized steel to prevent rust, and the body uses high-quality fiberglass or stainless steel for durability and hygiene.

The interior must be equipped with 304 food-grade stainless steel workbenches. Ensure the electrical system includes multiple sockets, a distribution box, and external power inlets compatible with your local voltage (e.g., 110V or 220V). A dual-sink system with hot and cold water taps, along with fresh and waste water tanks, is a standard requirement for health inspections. You should also verify if the supplier can pre-install exhaust hoods and non-slip aluminum flooring.

For the vehicle itself, CE certification is mandatory for the European market, while DOT or EPA compliance may be necessary for the US. Since it involves food handling, the internal equipment should meet NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) standards. Ensure the supplier provides a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) for registration purposes in your local DMV or transport authority.

Calculate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by including the unit price, customization fees for kitchen appliances, and shipping costs (usually via 20GP or 40HQ containers). Electric models offer a 40-60% reduction in operational costs compared to gasoline trucks due to lower fuel and maintenance needs. Choose a supplier on Made-in-China.com that offers a warranty of at least 1-2 years on core components like the motor and controller to protect your investment.

The biggest risks are battery safety during transit and local road legality. Batteries are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods, so ensure the supplier provides a UN38.3 test report and MSDS. To avoid the risk of the vehicle being seized at customs, confirm that the dimensions and lighting systems (turn signals, brake lights) comply with your country's road safety regulations before the balance payment.

Request a detailed Proforma Invoice (PI) that specifies the thickness of the steel, the brand of the controller, and the exact equipment list. Negotiate for a third-party pre-shipment inspection (such as SGS or BV) to verify that the electrical wiring and water systems are functional. Use Secured Trading services on Made-in-China.com to ensure your funds are only released after the supplier provides the Bill of Lading.

Due to the large volume, Sea Freight (FCL - Full Container Load) is the most secure and cost-effective method. The vehicle must be firmly lashed with steel wires and wooden blocks inside the container to prevent movement. If the car is too tall for a standard container, you may need an OT (Open Top) container or use Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) shipping, though Ro-Ro is only available at specific ports.

Check the HS Code (typically 8703.80 or 8704.90) to determine the applicable import tariffs and anti-dumping duties in your country. Prepare all necessary documents, including the Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and CE/COC certificates. It is highly recommended to hire a local customs broker who specializes in vehicle imports to navigate environmental and safety declarations.
