Human hair straight manufacturers

To ensure high-end quality, perform a Burn Test: human hair turns to ash and smells like burning protein, while synthetic fibers melt into a hard plastic bead. Additionally, check for cuticle alignment; high-quality 'Remi' hair has cuticles running in one direction, which prevents tangling and matting after washing. Always request a Certificate of Origin to verify the hair's source.

Buyers should focus on Hair Ratio (Single Drawn vs. Double Drawn). Double drawn hair has a consistent thickness from top to bottom, providing a fuller look. For straight hair, heat resistance is vital; it should withstand temperatures up to 180°C-200°C without damage. Ensure the weft construction is a 'Double Machine Weft' to minimize shedding and increase the product's lifespan.

Products must comply with Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) measures. Ensure the supplier provides a Fumigation/Disinfection Certificate to prove the hair is free from parasites and pathogens. For the US and EU markets, verify that any dyes used are Azo-free and meet REACH or CPSIA standards for chemical safety to avoid scalp irritation for the end-user.

The 'A' grading system is not an international standard and varies by supplier. Instead of relying on these labels, evaluate the gram weight per bundle (typically 100g ± 5g) and the percentage of full-length hairs within a bundle. A '12A' from one vendor might equal an '8A' from another; therefore, ordering a sample kit to test bleachability (up to #613 blonde) is the most reliable quality benchmark.

The primary risk is material substitution, where suppliers mix human hair with animal hair (yak) or high-temperature synthetic fibers to reduce costs. To mitigate this, use Third-Party Inspection services before final shipment. Another risk is weight fraud; ensure the quoted weight excludes the packaging material. Always conduct transactions through secure payment channels provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure escrow protection.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on length; hair prices increase significantly every 2 inches. Negotiate for customized packaging (private labeling), which adds significant brand value for a low cost. Ask for a 'Long-term Partnership Discount' or a reduction in sample costs if the subsequent bulk order exceeds a certain value. Ensure the Incoterms (usually DAP or Federal Express/DHL door-to-door) are clearly defined in the contract.

Human hair is a high-value, low-volume product, making Air Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) the most efficient shipping method, usually taking 3-7 business days. Be aware of Import Duties and HS Codes (typically 6703 or 6704). Ensure the commercial invoice accurately reflects the hair type (synthetic vs. human) to avoid customs delays or fines related to misdeclaration.
