Jinma 354 tractor with backhoe manufacturers

The Jinma 354 is a 35HP 4WD compact tractor. You must verify the engine type, typically a Laidong or YTO 3-cylinder diesel engine, ensuring it meets your local emission standards (e.g., EPA Tier 4 or Euro V). For the backhoe attachment, confirm the maximum digging depth (usually 7-8 feet), the swing angle (180 degrees is standard), and whether it features a subframe mount or a 3-point hitch mount, as subframe mounts offer better structural integrity for heavy digging.

Ensure the tractor has a dual-stage clutch to allow the PTO to remain engaged while the tractor stops moving. The hydraulic pump capacity should be at least 20-25 L/min to ensure the backhoe operates smoothly without lagging. Check if the unit includes dual rear hydraulic remotes, which are essential for powering various attachments beyond just the backhoe.

For the North American market, ensure the tractor has a ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structure) that is OSHA or SAE certified. For the European market, a CE certification is mandatory. Additionally, verify that the lighting and signaling systems comply with local road safety regulations if you plan to drive the unit on public paths.

This configuration is ideal for small-scale landscaping, trenching, and farm utility work. Maintenance is straightforward but critical: grease all pivot points on the backhoe every 8-10 hours of use, check hydraulic fluid levels weekly, and ensure the wheel bolts are torqued after the first 50 hours of operation to prevent loosening under the stress of backhoe work.

Always request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). You should hire a third-party agency to conduct a functional test, including a full cycle of the backhoe and loader, to check for hydraulic leaks or engine smoke. Ensure the supplier provides a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and engine serial number that matches the documentation to avoid customs clearance issues.

To save on freight, tractors are often shipped in SKD (Semi-Knocked Down) condition in a container. A 20GP container can usually fit one unit with the backhoe detached. Ensure the supplier uses professional steel racking and moisture-proof packaging to prevent rust during sea transit. Confirm the Incoterms; for heavy machinery, CIF or DAP is often preferred by buyers, but FOB gives you more control over the shipping timeline.

Focus on the spare parts package. Instead of just a price discount, negotiate for a '2-year wear-parts kit' including filters, seals, and hydraulic hoses. Ask for OEM customization (like specific colors or brand decals) if ordering more than 3 units. Always use Secured Trading services on the platform to ensure your payment is only released after the bill of lading is confirmed.

Never wire full payments to personal accounts; ensure the bank account name matches the company name registered on the business license. Utilize Letter of Credit (L/C) for large orders or Trade Assurance style payments. Retain all communication records regarding warranty terms (typically 12-24 months) and ensure the supplier confirms the availability of after-sales technical support and parts diagrams in English.
