Led gas station price board manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize High-Brightness LEDs (typically >5000 nits) to ensure visibility under direct sunlight. The IP65 or IP67 waterproof rating is essential for outdoor durability. Additionally, verify the viewing angle (usually 120° horizontal/60° vertical) and the driving method (static constant current) to ensure flicker-free performance and long-term stability.

For modern gas stations, RF wireless remote control (range up to 100m) is standard, but for multi-station management, WiFi, 4G, or TCP/IP LAN control is recommended. Ensure the system supports automatic synchronization with the point-of-sale (POS) system to prevent pricing discrepancies.

For the US market, UL or ETL certification is critical for electrical safety, along with FCC compliance for electromagnetic interference. For the EU, CE (LVD/EMC) and RoHS certifications are mandatory. Ensure the power supply is Mean Well brand or equivalent to meet global safety and efficiency standards.

Digit height should be chosen based on the speed limit and viewing distance of the road; common sizes range from 8 inches to 24 inches. While Green and Red are traditional, Amber and White are increasingly popular for high-end branding. Ensure the LEDs use high-quality chips (like Epistar or Cree) to prevent color decay over time.

LED boards are fragile. Insist on wooden crate packaging rather than just cardboard boxes. Request photos of the internal cushioning and the final sealed crate before dispatch. For high-value orders, choose CIF terms or ensure you have comprehensive marine cargo insurance to cover potential transit damage.

Focus on the Life-Cycle Cost rather than just the initial price. Negotiate for a 3-5 year warranty and ask for 2% extra spare parts (LED modules, power supplies, and cables) to be included for free. This reduces future maintenance costs and downtime.

Check if the supplier is an Audited Supplier on Made-in-China.com, which confirms their factory existence and production capacity. Request a video factory tour and ask for third-party test reports (e.g., salt spray tests) to ensure the aluminum cabinet is truly corrosion-resistant for outdoor use.

Always confirm the Input Voltage (110V vs 220V) and the plug type before production. Additionally, verify if the software interface supports your local language and if the time/date format is adjustable to meet local customs.
