Magnetic door curtain manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize heavy-duty polyester mesh or fiberglass mesh. Fiberglass is superior for its fire-resistance, scratch-resistance, and durability compared to standard polyester. Ensure the mesh density is at least 18x16 strands per square inch to effectively block small insects while maintaining optimal airflow and transparency.

Look for curtains featuring continuous magnetic strips combined with strong individual magnets sewn into the reinforced edges. A high-quality curtain should have zero gaps when closed and utilize weighted bottom bars to ensure the curtain snaps back into place quickly even in windy conditions. Avoid designs where magnets are simply clipped on, as they tend to fall off over time.

For the US market, ensure the materials meet CPAI-84 flame retardancy standards. For the EU, compliance with REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) is essential to ensure the PVC or synthetic components are free from harmful phthalates. Additionally, verify that the adhesive hook-and-loop tapes used for installation are weather-resistant and leave no toxic residue.

Yes, professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. You can request custom dimensions for French doors, sliding glass doors, or RV entrances. Ensure the supplier provides reinforced stitching on the top header (usually 4cm width) to support the weight of larger custom sizes and prevent tearing during high-frequency use.

Always request a pre-production sample and perform a weight-per-square-meter (GSM) test. High-quality magnetic curtains typically weigh between 300g to 600g depending on size. Furthermore, use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service to ensure payment is only released after the goods pass a third-party quality inspection (such as SGS or Intertek).

Negotiate based on Tiered Pricing; for magnetic curtains, a volume of 1,000+ units can often reduce the unit price by 20-25%. Regarding logistics, since these products are lightweight but can be bulky in large quantities, ask for vacuum-sealed packaging to reduce the volume weight, thereby lowering sea freight or air courier costs.

Prioritize 'Audited Suppliers' on Made-in-China.com who have a proven track record of exporting to your specific region. Check their production capacity (e.g., 50,000 units/month) to ensure they can handle seasonal spikes in demand. Review their Gold Member status and look for a high re-order rate from other B2B buyers, which indicates consistent quality.

Some magnetic closure designs are patented in specific countries (like the US or Germany). Before importing, verify that the supplier owns the design patent or that the product design does not infringe on existing 'As Seen On TV' brands. Request a Letter of Authorization if you are selling under a specific brand name to avoid customs seizures.
