Magnetic glass cleaner manufacturers

Magnetic glass cleaners are not one-size-fits-all. You must match the magnetic force to the specific glass thickness (e.g., 3-8mm for single glaze, 15-24mm for double glaze, or 25-35mm for triple glaze). Selecting a magnet that is too weak will cause the outer part to fall, while one that is too strong may crack the glass or be impossible to move. Always prioritize suppliers that offer adjustable magnetic tension models to cover a wider range of customer needs.

Safety is the highest priority for B2B buyers. Ensure the product includes a high-strength safety rope (at least 2 meters long) with a secure wrist ring to prevent the external component from falling. Additionally, look for an anti-pinching design or safety spacers to prevent finger injuries when the two magnetic halves snap together. Products should ideally meet CE or RoHS standards for material safety and durability.

Focus on the scouring pad material and the squeegee blade quality. High-density microfiber cloths provide better water absorption and dirt removal, while natural rubber squeegees ensure a streak-free finish without scratching the glass. Check if the internal magnets are NdFeB (Neodymium), as they offer superior longevity and strength compared to standard ferrite magnets. The housing should be made of impact-resistant ABS plastic to withstand accidental drops.

Request salt spray test reports for any metal components to ensure they won't rust, and cycle tests for the magnetic strength. For commercial sourcing, prioritize suppliers on Made-in-China.com who provide replaceable cleaning pads and rubber strips, as this increases the product's value proposition by extending its usable life for the end-consumer.

Magnets are classified as 'Dangerous Goods' for air freight because they can interfere with aircraft navigation systems. You must ensure the supplier provides Magnetic Shielding Packaging and a Non-Magnetic Inspection Report. For large bulk orders, sea freight is more economical and involves fewer restrictions, but you must ensure the packaging is moisture-proof to prevent degradation of the internal components.

When negotiating on Made-in-China.com, request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). Define a clear Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) in your contract, specifically focusing on the magnet stability and plastic casing integrity. Ask for a tiered pricing structure where the unit price decreases by 10-20% for orders exceeding 500 units, and negotiate for spare parts (extra sponges and blades) to be included in the initial MOQ.

Always use Secured Trading Services provided by the platform to protect your funds until delivery is confirmed. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. Ensure the supplier is a 'Diamond Member' or 'Audited Supplier' on Made-in-China.com, which indicates they have undergone third-party verification of their business legitimacy and manufacturing capabilities.

Verify the HS Code (typically 8505.11 for permanent magnets or 9603.90 for cleaning tools) with your local customs office to determine the exact duty rates. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to take advantage of any bilateral trade agreements that might reduce tariffs. For the US market, ensure compliance with CPSC safety requirements regarding strong magnets.
