Nissan qd32 engine price manufacturers

When sourcing a Nissan QD32 engine, you must distinguish between the naturally aspirated (98-110 HP) and turbocharged (QD32Ti, 130-150 HP) versions, as this significantly impacts the price. Ensure the engine features a cast-iron cylinder block and overhead valve (OHV) design, which are hallmarks of its durability. Verify the displacement (3.153L) and ask for the compression ratio (typically 22:1) to ensure it meets original OEM performance standards for vehicles like the Nissan Frontier or Caravan.

Price variations are primarily driven by condition. Brand new aftermarket engines offer the highest reliability and usually come with a 12-month warranty, but carry a premium price. Reconditioned or 'surplus' engines are more economical but require a detailed inspection report or a video of the engine running (compression test). For B2B buyers, prioritizing ISO 9001 certified remanufacturing facilities is essential to ensure the internal components like pistons and bearings have been replaced with high-quality parts.

Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin and that the engine block has a clear, legible engine number for customs registration. For environmental compliance, confirm if the engine meets Euro II or Euro III emission standards, depending on your target market's regulations. It is highly recommended to request a third-party inspection (such as SGS or Intertek) to verify that the engine assembly matches the technical data sheet provided by the seller.

The QD32 is widely used in light trucks, SUVs, and industrial power units (generators/forklifts). Before purchasing, confirm the flywheel and bell housing configuration, as these differ between manual and automatic transmissions. If you are sourcing for a fleet, check for component interchangeability with other Nissan TD series engines to simplify future maintenance and spare parts procurement.

Always use Secure Payment services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com, which offer escrow-style protection. Never wire full payments directly to a supplier's private account. Demand a cold-start video and oil pressure test results before the engine is crated. Additionally, look for suppliers with the 'Audited Supplier' badge to ensure their factory capacity and legal existence have been verified.

Engines must be shipped in fumigated solid wooden crates (IPPC standard) to prevent moisture damage and physical impact. Ensure the supplier drains all fluids (oil and coolant) before shipping to comply with international air and sea freight regulations for hazardous materials. Request anti-rust coating on exposed metal surfaces and the use of heavy-duty pallets to facilitate forklift handling at the destination port.

For the Nissan QD32, a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) of 1-5 units is common. To get the best price, negotiate based on annual volume rather than a single shipment. Ask for a tiered pricing structure (e.g., 10+ units, 50+ units). You can often negotiate a 2-5% discount by opting for FOB (Free On Board) terms if you have a reliable freight forwarder, or by requesting a 'bare engine' (long block) if you already have the peripheral components.

You will need a Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Bill of Lading. Specifically for engines, a Technical Data Sheet and an Emission Compliance Statement may be required by your local customs authority. Ensure the HS Code (typically 8408.20) is correctly declared to avoid misclassification penalties and to accurately calculate import duties.
