Salt bag 25kg price manufacturers

For a 25kg capacity, you should prioritize BOPP Laminated Polypropylene (PP) woven bags. These bags offer superior tensile strength and puncture resistance. Ensure the fabric weight is at least 65-75 GSM (grams per square meter) to prevent bursting during stacking. Additionally, a PE inner liner (25-40 microns) is essential to provide a moisture barrier, as salt is highly hygroscopic and will clump if exposed to humidity.

If the salt is for human consumption, the bags must comply with FDA (US) or EC 1935/2004 (EU) food contact regulations. Ensure the supplier provides a Migration Test Report and uses virgin polypropylene resin rather than recycled materials. For industrial or de-icing salt, focus on UV stabilization (UV 200-300 hours) if the bags will be stored outdoors, ensuring the plastic does not degrade under sunlight.

The bottom should be single or double folded and chain-stitched for maximum load-bearing security. For the top closure, you can choose between heat sealing (best for moisture protection) or easy-open yarn stitching (best for end-user convenience). If you are using automated filling lines, confirm the bag dimensions (typically 45x75cm or 50x80cm) and valve specifications with the supplier to ensure compatibility with your machinery.

Pricing is primarily driven by the current market price of Polypropylene (PP) resin, the GSM weight of the bag, and the complexity of the printing (e.g., gravure printing vs. flexo printing). Ordering in Full Container Loads (FCL), such as a 20GP container which typically holds 50,000–70,000 bags, can reduce the unit price by 15-20% compared to LCL (Less than Container Load) due to optimized logistics and manufacturing efficiency.

Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third party like SGS or Intertek. Specifically, instruct them to perform a 'Drop Test' (dropping a filled 25kg bag from 1.2 meters) and a 'UV Resistance Test'. Using Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services can also protect your payment until the inspection report is verified.

Focus on long-term volume commitments rather than one-off purchases to secure 'Tier 1' pricing. Ask for plate-making fee waivers if your order exceeds 50,000 units. Additionally, negotiate Incoterms carefully; while FOB (Free On Board) is standard, requesting CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) might be more convenient if you do not have a dedicated freight forwarder, but ensure the insurance covers water damage during sea transit.

Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties (ADD) that some countries (like the US or certain EU nations) impose on plastic woven products from specific regions. Check your local HS Code (typically 6305.33) for applicable tariffs. To save on shipping costs, ensure the bags are bale-packed and hydraulically compressed to minimize volume, allowing more units to fit into the container.

Verify the supplier's Business License and Export Qualification on the Made-in-China.com platform. Look for 'Audited Suppliers' who have undergone on-site verification. Avoid using high-risk payment methods for initial deposits; instead, use Letter of Credit (L/C) for large volumes or Escrow-based payment systems to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment (Bill of Lading).
