Wholesale jet flame lighter manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize windproof performance and flame stability. Key specs include piezoelectric ignition systems (rated for 10,000+ clicks), adjustable flame valves, and refillable butane tanks made of high-impact ABS or Zinc Alloy. For industrial or culinary use, ensure the lighter can maintain a continuous flame for at least 30-60 seconds without overheating the nozzle.

Compliance is critical due to the hazardous nature of the product. Ensure suppliers meet ISO 9994 (Lighters—Safety Specification) and EN 13869 (Child-resistance requirements). For the US market, CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) certification is mandatory. Always verify that the fuel tank pressure resistance meets international safety benchmarks to prevent leakage or explosion during transit.

Request samples to perform a drop test (1.5 meters) and a continuous burn test. Check the ignition success rate; a high-quality lighter should ignite on the first click at least 98% of the time. Additionally, inspect the nozzle material—ceramic insulators are preferred over plastic to prevent melting during extended use.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer laser engraving, silk-screen printing, and customized packaging. For high-end gift markets, you can request PVD plating or rubberized finishes. Ensure the supplier can provide Pantone color matching for brand consistency across large production runs.

Lighters are classified as Class 2.1 Flammable Gas dangerous goods. Most wholesale orders are shipped 'empty' (without gas) to simplify logistics and reduce costs. If shipping pre-filled, you must use specialized DG (Dangerous Goods) containers and provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a UN38.3 certificate. Shipping empty is highly recommended to avoid strict port rejections.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until delivery is confirmed. Negotiate a payment structure of 30% deposit and 70% balance after third-party inspection but before shipment. Clearly define the Defective Rate Threshold (usually <2%) in the contract, with agreed-upon compensation for units exceeding this limit.

The primary risks include customs seizure due to lack of child-safety documentation and quality degradation during long-sea voyages (humidity affecting ignition). To mitigate this, ensure the supplier uses moisture-proof export packaging and provides valid test reports that match the specific batch number of your order.
