80-2 electronic centrifuge manufacturers

The 80-2 model is a classic laboratory workhorse. You must prioritize the maximum speed (typically 4000 rpm) and the Relative Centrifugal Force (RCF), which is usually around 1790-2325xg. Ensure the rotor capacity matches your needs, commonly 12x20ml or 6x20ml. Additionally, look for units featuring a stepless speed regulation and a mechanical timer (0-60 minutes) for operational flexibility.

For B2B procurement, the device must carry the CE Marking to enter the European market and UL certification for the North American market. Since it is medical/laboratory equipment, the manufacturer should ideally hold ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 (Medical Devices Quality Management) certifications. Ensure the unit includes an automatic shut-off safety switch that triggers if the lid is opened during operation.

The heart of the centrifuge is the motor. High-quality 80-2 units utilize brushless DC motors which offer lower noise levels (<70dB), reduced maintenance, and a longer lifespan compared to brushed motors. Check if the housing is made of high-strength plastic or cold-rolled steel with powder coating to resist chemical corrosion and physical impact.

This model is widely used in hospitals, biochemical labs, and blood stations for qualitative analysis of serum, plasma, and urea. It is also an essential tool for educational institutions and environmental monitoring stations due to its cost-effectiveness and ease of use for routine liquid separation tasks.

Centrifuges are precision instruments sensitive to vibration. Insist that the supplier uses double-layered corrugated boxes with custom-fit EPE foam inserts. For bulk orders, palletization with shrink wrap is mandatory to prevent tilting. Always clarify the Incoterms; for high-value lab gear, CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) is often preferred to ensure the goods are insured against transit damage.

Focus on Sample-to-Bulk conversion. Request a single unit sample to test vibration stability and noise levels. Negotiate a tiered pricing structure where the sample cost is deducted from the first bulk order of 50+ units. Also, ask for a 2% spare parts kit (such as extra carbon brushes if not brushless, or rubber gaskets) to be included free of charge.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure payment is only released upon confirmation of shipment. For large contracts, implement a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment against the Bill of Lading (B/L). Always verify the supplier's Audit Report to confirm they are a genuine manufacturer and not a middleman.

Ensure the HS Code (typically 842119) is correctly declared on the Commercial Invoice and Packing List. Some countries require a Certificate of Origin (CO) to grant preferential tariff rates. If the centrifuge is classified as a medical device in your region, ensure you have the necessary import license or FDA/MDR registration ready before the vessel arrives to avoid costly demurrage fees.
