Aircraft jack price manufacturers

The price of an aircraft jack is primarily driven by its lifting capacity (tonnage) and stroke height. For B2B procurement, ensure the jack features chrome-plated cylinder rods to prevent corrosion and double-sealed hydraulics to eliminate oil leakage. High-quality units must include a mechanical safety lock nut that prevents accidental lowering in case of hydraulic failure. Always verify the base width-to-height ratio to ensure stability during heavy maintenance tasks.

Safety is non-negotiable in aviation. Suppliers must provide products that comply with ISO 9001 for manufacturing quality and CE/EN 1494 standards for mobile lifting equipment. For the US market, adherence to ANSI/ASME PASE standards is critical. Ensure the manufacturer provides a Load Test Certificate (typically 150% of rated capacity) and a Certificate of Conformance (CoC) with every unit to meet aviation authority audit requirements.

Tripod Jacks are more expensive due to their complex structure and high lift capabilities used for fuselage or wing jacking; they often feature adjustable headers and leveling bubbles. Axle Jacks (or Bottle Jacks) are more cost-effective and portable, designed specifically for tire and brake changes. Buyers should evaluate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), including the availability of replacement seal kits and the ease of annual load testing calibration.

Jacks used in hangar environments should have swivel casters with floor locks for easy positioning. For off-runway or remote recovery, look for jacks with pneumatic tires and tow bar attachments. Functionally, prioritize models with dual-stage manual pumps (high speed for low load, high pressure for lifting) or air-powered hydraulic pumps to reduce technician fatigue and increase operational efficiency.

The biggest risk is structural integrity failure due to sub-standard steel. To mitigate this, request Material Test Reports (MTRs) to verify the grade of steel used. Another risk is shipping damage to hydraulic valves; ensure the contract specifies heavy-duty wooden crate packaging with internal bracing. Always use Made-in-China.com's secured payment services to ensure funds are only released after the bill of lading is verified.

Focus on volume-based pricing tiers and long-term spare parts support. Ask for a bundled price that includes initial wear-and-tear parts (seals, O-rings). Negotiate Incoterms carefully; for heavy equipment like tripod jacks, FOB (Free On Board) is often preferred so you can control the sea freight costs and choose a carrier experienced in handling oversized industrial machinery.

Aircraft jacks are heavy and classified as industrial machinery. Ensure the supplier provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the hydraulic oil if the jack is shipped pre-filled, as some carriers treat this as hazardous material. For shipping to the US or Europe, ensure the wooden pallets are ISPM 15 heat-treated to avoid customs delays. Consider LCL (Less than Container Load) shipping for single units to optimize costs, but ensure the unit is bolted to the crate base.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com, as they have undergone third-party verification of their facilities. Request a video factory audit to see the testing rig where the jacks undergo load testing. Check if the supplier has experience exporting to MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) centers or airlines, as this indicates a high level of technical and documentation proficiency.
