Chery rear lamp manufacturers

When sourcing rear lamps for Chery vehicles (such as the Tiggo or Arrizo series), you must verify the Light Source Type (LED vs. Halogen) to ensure compatibility with the vehicle's electrical system. Key technical factors include Luminous Flux (measured in lumens) for visibility, IP67 or IP68 Waterproof Rating to prevent moisture ingress, and Housing Material (typically ABS or PC) for high impact resistance. Always confirm the OEM Part Number to ensure a 100% precise fit for the specific model year.

Compliance is critical for road safety and customs clearance. For the US market, DOT (Department of Transportation) and SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) certifications are required. For the European market, the E-mark (e.g., E1, E4, E11) certification is mandatory. Additionally, ensure the supplier follows IATF 16949:2016, which is the international quality management standard specifically for the automotive industry supply chain.

Request Photometric Test Reports to ensure the light distribution meets legal requirements for braking, signaling, and reversing. Durability should be validated through Salt Spray Testing (typically 48-96 hours) to check for corrosion resistance and Thermal Cycling Tests to ensure the lens does not crack or yellow under extreme temperature fluctuations. High-quality lamps should maintain optical clarity for at least 3-5 years.

Modern Chery models often use CAN-bus systems. Ensure the rear lamps are 'Error-Free' or 'Plug-and-Play', meaning they include built-in resistors to prevent 'bulb out' warnings on the dashboard. For dynamic/sequential turn signals, verify that the Control IC (Integrated Circuit) is compatible with the vehicle's central control unit to avoid flickering or synchronization issues.

Rear lamps are fragile. You should mandate Five-Layer Corrugated Box packaging with EPE foam inserts tailored to the lamp's shape. For large orders, use Palletization with Stretch Wrap to minimize handling shocks. We recommend using Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service to hold payment until a Third-Party Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI) confirms the goods are free of cracks and scratches.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on Annual Volume rather than a single order. Ask for a Sample Rebate Policy, where the cost of the initial sample is deducted from your first bulk order. Since automotive molds are expensive, clarify Mold Ownership if you are requesting a custom design. For long-term partnerships, negotiate a 1-2% Defect Allowance or a credit for future orders to cover minor shipping damages.

Automotive lamps are 'light but bulky' goods, meaning Volumetric Weight will significantly impact shipping costs. Compare LCL (Less than Container Load) for small batches versus FCL (Full Container Load) for better cost-efficiency. Ensure the HS Code (typically 851220) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays. For urgent repairs, Air Freight is viable, but for stock replenishment, Sea Freight is the most economically feasible method.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have undergone on-site verification by independent agencies like SGS or TÜV Rheinland. Check the supplier's Business License to ensure their scope includes 'Automotive Parts Manufacturing' or 'Export.' Always use Formal Proforma Invoices that clearly state the Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF) and the specific Warranty Period (ideally 12-24 months).
