Cockroach killers manufacturers

B2B buyers should categorize products into three main types: Gel Baits, Bait Stations, and Contact Sprays. Gel Baits are ideal for commercial kitchens and sensitive electronic areas due to their precision application. Bait Stations are best for high-traffic public areas as they provide a tamper-resistant housing that protects children and pets. Contact Sprays/Aerosols are designed for immediate knockdown in warehouse perimeters. For long-term control, prioritize products containing Insect Growth Regulators (IGRs) like Pyriproxyfen, which disrupt the life cycle rather than just killing adults.

As these are biocidal products, compliance is non-negotiable. For the US market, products must be EPA-registered and labels must comply with FIFRA standards. For the EU market, adherence to the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) and REACH is required. Ensure the supplier provides a comprehensive Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) or Safety Data Sheet (SDS) that aligns with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). Always verify the active ingredient concentration (e.g., Fipronil, Hydramethylnon, or Imidacloprid) to ensure it meets the legal limits of the destination country.

Request third-party lab efficacy reports demonstrating the 'kill rate' within specific timeframes (e.g., 24-48 hours). A reputable supplier should hold ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management. For gel products, ask about viscosity stability; the gel must not run or drip in high-temperature environments (up to 50°C) common in tropical climates or kitchens. Check the shelf-life stability, which should ideally be 24 to 36 months under proper storage conditions.

Packaging must be leak-proof and child-resistant. For retail-ready goods, ensure the outer carton is UV-coated to prevent fading during sea freight. Labels must be printed in the official language of the destination country and include clear first-aid instructions, storage requirements, and disposal protocols. For bulk liquid shipments, ensure the use of UN-certified drums or IBC tanks to prevent chemical leakage during transit.

Many cockroach killers, especially aerosols, are classified as Class 2.1 or 2.2 Dangerous Goods (DG). This requires specialized DG containers and higher freight costs. Even non-aerosol gels may be flagged during customs X-ray. You must work with a freight forwarder experienced in hazardous materials and ensure the UN Number and Proper Shipping Name are accurately declared on the Bill of Lading to avoid heavy fines or cargo seizure.

Utilize the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods are verified. When negotiating, request a pre-shipment inspection by a third party like SGS or Intertek to verify that the chemical composition matches the approved sample. Define a clear 'Defective Goods' clause in your contract, specifically addressing issues like dried-out gel or malfunctioning spray nozzles, with a minimum 1% spare parts/units allowance for bulk orders.

Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties that some regions apply to chemical exports from specific countries. Additionally, check the Rotterdam Convention list to ensure the active ingredients are not restricted or banned for international trade. Always confirm if the supplier is an authorized exporter of pesticides, as some countries require a specific Pesticide Export Clearance document issued by the Ministry of Agriculture.
