Cvc fleece manufacturers

When evaluating CVC (Chief Value Cotton) Fleece, the composition ratio is paramount; typically, it consists of 60% cotton and 40% polyester, providing a balance of breathability and durability. You must verify the fabric weight (GSM), usually ranging from 280g to 420g, to ensure it meets your seasonal requirements. Additionally, check for anti-pilling treatments and colorfastness grades (Level 3-4 minimum) to ensure the longevity of the garment after multiple washes.

To ensure market entry, products should ideally hold the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, which guarantees the absence of harmful substances. For the US market, compliance with CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) is mandatory for children's apparel. If your brand focuses on sustainability, look for suppliers with GRS (Global Recycled Standard) if recycled polyester is used in the CVC blend.

The quality of the 'fleece' effect depends on the brushing process. Request samples to check for lint shedding and hand-feel softness. High-quality CVC fleece should have a dense, uniform nap on the underside that does not shed excessively. You should also inquire about pre-shrinking processes to ensure the residual shrinkage rate is kept below 3-5%.

CVC Fleece is highly versatile, primarily used for hoodies, sweatshirts, joggers, and activewear. Due to its high cotton content, it is preferred for corporate branded apparel and school uniforms because it takes screen printing and embroidery much better than 100% polyester fleece. It is also a staple for athleisure brands looking for a premium, soft-touch feel.

Always conduct a factory audit or use a third-party inspection service like SGS or Intertek before the final shipment. To secure your transaction, utilize secured payment terms and prioritize suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have 'Audited Supplier' status. This reduces the risk of receiving sub-standard fabric weights or incorrect fiber compositions.

Negotiate based on total order volume rather than just the initial trial. Many suppliers offer tiered pricing where costs can drop by 10-15% for orders exceeding 1,000kg per color. If you are a startup, look for suppliers with 'Ready to Ship' stock to bypass high Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) for custom dyeing.

CVC Fleece is bulky, so vacuum packaging can significantly reduce the volume and save on ocean freight costs. Ensure your Incoterms are clearly defined; FOB (Free On Board) is generally recommended for experienced buyers to maintain control over shipping costs. Be mindful of seasonal peaks in the textile industry (typically Q3) which can lead to container shortages and higher rates.
