Detection watch manufacturers

When evaluating a detection watch, prioritize the sensor accuracy for vital signs. Ensure the device uses PPG (Photoplethysmography) for heart rate and SpO2 monitoring, and ECG (Electrocardiogram) sensors if medical-grade data is required. The battery life should ideally last 5-7 days under normal use to ensure continuous data collection. Additionally, verify the waterproof rating (IP67 or IP68) to ensure durability against sweat and rain.

For the US market, the device must have FCC certification for wireless components and FDA registration if marketed as a medical device. For the EU, CE marking (RED directive) and RoHS compliance are essential to ensure the product meets safety and environmental standards. If the watch tracks location, ensure it complies with GDPR (EU) or CCPA (US) regarding data privacy and encryption.

Confirm that the watch supports Bluetooth 5.0 or higher for stable connectivity. The companion app must be compatible with both iOS and Android platforms. For B2B buyers looking to integrate data into their own systems, ask the supplier if they provide an SDK (Software Development Kit) or API access. This is crucial for corporate wellness programs or specialized healthcare applications.

The strap should be made of medical-grade silicone or hypoallergenic TPU to prevent skin irritation during prolonged use. The casing should ideally be 316L stainless steel or high-strength polycarbonate. Ensure the screen uses Gorilla Glass or Sapphire crystal to provide high scratch resistance and clarity for the user interface.

The primary risks include quality inconsistency between samples and bulk orders, and lithium battery shipping restrictions. To mitigate this, always request a UN38.3 test report and an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) to ensure the batteries are safe for international air or sea freight. Conduct a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to verify that the firmware version and sensor calibration meet your specific requirements.

Utilize the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to protect your payments until the goods are received and inspected. When negotiating, clearly define the Defective Rate (AQL standard); typically, for electronics, an AQL of 1.0 for major defects and 2.5 for minor defects is standard. Insist on a 12-month warranty period and clarify who bears the shipping cost for returning defective units.

Ensure the supplier uses anti-static packaging and cushioned inner boxes to prevent impact damage. For customs, the HS Code (typically 8517.62) must be accurately declared on the commercial invoice. To avoid delays, ensure all battery warning labels are clearly visible on the outer carton as per IATA/IMDG regulations. For large orders, consider FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain better control over your logistics costs and insurance.
