Electric water gun manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize battery capacity (mAh) and waterproof ratings. Ensure the product features at least an IPX6 or IPX7 waterproof rating for the battery compartment to prevent short circuits. Look for high-torque motors that provide a consistent shooting range of 8-12 meters and a large capacity water tank (500ml+) or external bottle compatibility to enhance user experience.

For the US market, products must comply with ASTM F963 and CPSIA standards. For the EU, EN71 (Parts 1, 2, and 3) and CE marking are mandatory. Additionally, since these contain batteries, ensure the supplier provides UL/UN38.3 certification and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for safe transport and customs clearance.

Request information on the plastic material used; non-toxic ABS plastic is preferred for its impact resistance. Check for seamless ultrasonic welding on the water tank to prevent leaks. Ask the supplier for drop test reports and motor life-cycle data (e.g., 5000+ trigger pulls) to ensure the product survives high-intensity play.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer custom colorways (Pantone matching), logo silk-screening, and bespoke packaging designs. For larger orders (MOQ 2000+), you can request mold modifications or the integration of LED lighting effects and digital displays for water levels and battery life.

The primary risk involves the Lithium-ion batteries. Shipping items with built-in batteries requires specialized dangerous goods (DG) handling. Ensure your freight forwarder is experienced in Class 9 hazardous materials transport. To reduce costs, consider sourcing units where the battery is removable, allowing for easier sea freight compliance.

Start by requesting a tiered pricing structure (e.g., 500, 1000, and 5000 units). Aim for a 15-20% discount on bulk orders compared to sample prices. Negotiate for spare parts (2-3% extra motors/seals) to be included at no cost to handle potential RMAs, rather than just pushing for the lowest unit price.

Always use Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your payment. Never wire the full amount upfront; a standard 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after third-party inspection (e.g., SGS or V-Trust) but before shipment is the industry best practice to ensure quality.

Electric water guns often have designs inspired by popular media or firearms. Ensure the supplier holds the design patent or that the product has a unique appearance that does not infringe on major toy brands or real firearm aesthetics, which could lead to customs seizures in the destination country.
