Fighting shorts manufacturers

When sourcing fighting shorts, prioritize 4-way stretch fabric (typically a blend of polyester and spandex) to ensure maximum mobility. For MMA-specific shorts, ensure they feature reinforced split seams on the sides to prevent tearing during high kicks or grappling. The waistband should include a triple-lock Velcro closure system combined with an internal drawstring to prevent the shorts from shifting during intense movement. Additionally, verify that the fabric is moisture-wicking and antimicrobial to manage sweat and prevent skin infections common in combat sports.

For long-lasting branding, you should request sublimation printing rather than screen printing. Sublimation infuses the ink directly into the fabric fibers, ensuring that logos will not crack, peel, or fade even after repeated friction and high-temperature washing. If you are sourcing for a premium brand, ask the supplier for reinforced bartack stitching at all stress points to enhance the overall lifespan of the garment.

Ensure the materials comply with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 to guarantee the absence of harmful chemicals that could cause skin irritation. For products destined for the US market, confirm compliance with CPSIA if targeting youth sizes. Furthermore, check if the shorts meet the competition regulations of major organizations (like IBJJF for grappling), which often require specific color ratios and the absence of external pockets or zippers to prevent injury to training partners.

Startups should look for suppliers on Made-in-China.com that offer Low MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) options, typically ranging from 20 to 50 pieces per design. While the unit price may be 20-30% higher for small batches, it significantly reduces inventory risk. As your volume scales to 500+ units, you can expect a price reduction of approximately 15-25% through bulk manufacturing efficiencies.

Always request a pre-production sample before committing to a bulk order. Use a third-party inspection service to perform a fabric GSM (grams per square meter) check and a colorfastness test. On Made-in-China.com, prioritize working with 'Audited Suppliers' who have verified manufacturing capabilities and past trade records to ensure consistency between the sample and the final shipment.

Negotiate a clear production timeline (typically 15-25 days) and include a penalty clause for late delivery in the Proforma Invoice. For shipping, DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is recommended for new buyers to avoid the complexities of customs clearance and import duties. For larger volumes, switching to FOB (Free On Board) and using your own freight forwarder can provide better transparency and lower overall logistics costs.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by the platform to ensure your payment is held in escrow and only released to the supplier once you confirm receipt and inspection of the goods. Avoid direct wire transfers to private bank accounts; always use the official corporate account listed on the supplier's verified profile to prevent payment fraud.
