Fragrance diffuser bottle manufacturers

The most critical factor is the chemical resistance of the glass. You should prioritize High-White Glass or Borosilicate Glass to ensure clarity and prevent the fragrance oils from reacting with the container. For luxury markets, look for bottles with a heavy base (thickened bottom) to provide stability and a premium hand-feel. Ensure the neck finish (e.g., 18/415 or 28/410) is standardized to match common reed diffusers or pump attachments.

To prevent leakage of volatile oils, verify that the supplier provides high-density PE gaskets or silicone stoppers that fit the bottle neck precisely. If the bottle includes a screw cap, it should pass a vacuum leak test. For B2B buyers, it is recommended to request compatibility testing reports between the bottle, the stopper, and the specific type of fragrance oil (alcohol-based vs. oil-based) you intend to use.

Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer various techniques: Screen Printing for durability, Hot Stamping for a metallic luxury look, and Electroplating for a mirror finish. For eco-friendly brands, Water-based Spray Coating is a sustainable alternative to traditional painting. Always ask for a pre-production sample to check for coating adhesion using the Cross-Hatch Tape Test.

For the US market, ensure the glass is Lead-Free and complies with FDA GRAS standards if applicable. For the EU, bottles must meet REACH regulations regarding heavy metal content in glass and pigments. If the bottle is sold as a set with fragrance, the entire assembly must comply with IFRA (International Fragrance Association) guidelines and CLP labeling requirements.

Glass is fragile, so you must mandate 5-layer corrugated export cartons with individual cell dividers (egg-crate packaging). For bulk sea freight, insist on palletization with plastic wrap and corner protectors. It is highly recommended to negotiate a breakage allowance (usually 2-3%) where the supplier replaces broken items in the next shipment or provides a refund.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on volume; glass production is energy-intensive, so prices drop significantly at MOQs of 5,000+ units due to furnace efficiency. Ask for mold ownership clauses if you are developing a custom shape, ensuring the mold cannot be used for other clients. Always use Trade Resources and secure payment methods to protect your deposit.

Empty glass bottles are generally classified under HS Code 7010.90. Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties that some regions (like the EU) may impose on Chinese glassware. Work with a freight forwarder experienced in LCL (Less than Container Load) shipping to ensure your fragile cargo isn't placed under heavy industrial goods. Ensure the Commercial Invoice and Packing List clearly state 'Empty Glass Bottles' to avoid chemical inspection delays.
