I have found results from10000+products and5000+suppliers aboutGps antenna bracket
For long-term durability, prioritize Stainless Steel 316 for marine applications due to its superior corrosion resistance, or Anodized Aluminum for weight-sensitive drone/aviation use. Ensure the material is non-magnetic to prevent interference with the GPS signal and has a UV-resistant coating if using reinforced plastics like ASA or Nylon.
Verify the thread specification, commonly 1"-14 UNS for marine antennas or 5/8"-11 for surveying equipment. Check the mounting hole pattern (e.g., 4-hole flange or pipe mount) and ensure the bracket can support the wind load and vibration frequency of the specific installation environment to prevent signal oscillation.
Look for ISO 9227 salt spray test certification (minimum 96-240 hours) to validate rust resistance. For automotive or aerospace use, ensure compliance with IATF 16949 or AS9100 standards. Additionally, verify that the manufacturing process adheres to RoHS and REACH directives for chemical safety.
Adjustable brackets (swivel or ball-joint) are essential for maintaining a clear line-of-sight to the sky on uneven surfaces, while fixed brackets offer higher structural stability and lower costs for mass deployments. For high-precision RTK systems, fixed mounts are preferred to eliminate mechanical play that could cause positioning errors.
Request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third party to verify dimensional accuracy against your CAD drawings. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure payment is only released after the goods pass quality checks. Always request a material mill certificate to prove the grade of steel or aluminum used.
Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just unit price; ask for tiered pricing (e.g., 500, 1000, 5000 units) and inquire if the supplier can provide customized packaging or laser-engraved branding at no extra cost for high-volume orders. Aim for a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment structure against the Bill of Lading (B/L).
Ensure the supplier uses VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) bags for steel components to prevent oxidation during sea freight. Brackets should be individually wrapped to prevent surface scratches during transit. For urgent samples, use air express (DHL/FedEx), but for bulk, FOB shipping is recommended to maintain control over logistics costs and customs clearance.
Check the HS Code (typically 8302.41 or 7326.90) to determine applicable import duties and anti-dumping taxes in your country. Ensure the Certificate of Origin (CO) is provided to take advantage of any Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) that may reduce or eliminate tariffs.
