Header bag making machine manufacturers

When selecting a machine, prioritize the production speed (typically 30-150 pcs/min) and the maximum bag width/length it can handle. Ensure the machine features a high-precision servo motor system for accurate feeding and a photocell tracking device for printed film alignment. For header bags specifically, verify the ultrasonic welding or heat-sealing strength for the reinforced header portion and the punching unit's versatility (e.g., butterfly hole, round hole, or handle punch).

A professional-grade machine should support a variety of materials including BOPP, PP, PE, and heat-shrinkable films. If your market demands sustainability, confirm if the machine can process biodegradable or compostable materials (PLA/PBAT) without compromising seal integrity. The thickness range, usually between 0.02mm to 0.2mm, must be clearly defined in the technical datasheet.

For the European market, the machine must carry the CE Marking and comply with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. For North America, look for UL-listed components or CSA certification. Additionally, ensure the manufacturer follows ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems to guarantee consistent build quality and operational safety features like emergency stop buttons and protective shielding.

Calculate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by including the initial purchase price, energy consumption (kW/h), and the cost of wear-and-tear parts like sealing knives and punching dies. A machine with an automatic scrap rewinding system can reduce labor costs and material waste, significantly shortening the payback period for high-volume manufacturers.

Always request a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) via live video or a third-party inspection agency before final payment. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. It is critical to send samples of your specific film to the supplier for testing prior to production to ensure the sealing and punching results meet your quality standards.

Focus negotiations on the warranty period (aim for 18-24 months) and the inclusion of a spare parts kit (heaters, thermocouples, and blades). Negotiate for lifetime technical support and clear documentation in English. For large orders, request a staged payment plan (e.g., 30% deposit, 60% after FAT, 10% after installation/commissioning).

Ensure the supplier uses seaworthy vacuum packaging and solid wooden crates (fumigated) to prevent rust and physical damage during sea transit. Specify FOB or CIF terms clearly in the contract. For inland delivery to your facility, confirm if the machine requires a flat-rack container or if it fits in a standard 40HQ container to avoid unexpected local handling fees.

Verify if the supplier provides remote installation guidance via AR/Video or if they have local service partners in your country. Ensure all PLC software interfaces are available in English or your local language. Ask for a detailed troubleshooting manual and a commitment to a 24-hour response time for technical queries to minimize production downtime.
