Long floor drain manufacturers

Prioritize SUS 304 or SUS 316 stainless steel to ensure maximum corrosion resistance in wet environments. Ensure the material thickness is at least 1.2mm to 1.5mm to prevent warping under weight. For high-end projects, look for PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating which provides superior scratch resistance and color longevity compared to standard electroplating.

Verify the flow rate capacity, which should ideally be ≥30 liters per minute to prevent water pooling in high-flow showers. Check for a deep slope design in the internal channel to facilitate rapid water movement. Additionally, ensure the unit includes a removable hair strainer and an anti-odor siphon or gravity flap to prevent sewer gases and pests from entering the room.

For the North American market, ensure products meet CUPC and ASME A112.18.2/CSA B125.2 standards. For European markets, compliance with EN 1253 (Gullies for buildings) is mandatory. Buyers should request CE certification and ISO 9001 factory audits to guarantee consistent manufacturing quality and adherence to international building codes.

Long floor drains are ideal for barrier-free (curbless) showers, luxury hotel bathrooms, and balcony drainage. When sourcing, specify the installation type: Wall-mounted (side outlet) for sleek aesthetics or Center-outlet for standard plumbing layouts. Ensure the supplier provides adjustable leveling feet and a waterproof membrane flange to simplify the installation process for contractors.

Request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) focusing on the welding points and edge smoothness; poorly finished edges can be sharp and dangerous for end-users. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure payment is only released after the goods pass quality verification. Always ask for a salt spray test report (24-48 hours) to confirm the anti-rust capabilities of the stainless steel.

Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. For orders exceeding 500 units, aim for a 15-20% discount or request customized laser-etched branding and bespoke packaging at no extra cost. Discuss MOQ flexibility for different finishes (e.g., Matte Black, Brushed Gold) to test market trends without overstocking.

Long floor drains are prone to bending during transit. Insist on reinforced five-layer corrugated boxes with EPE foam inserts for each unit. For bulk sea freight, ensure the pallets are shrink-wrapped and edge-protected. Confirm the HS Code (typically 7324.90) with your customs broker to accurately calculate import duties and avoid clearance delays.
