Mosquito repellent mat manufacturers

Most high-quality mats utilize Prallethrin or Esbiothrin as the active ingredient, typically in concentrations ranging from 10mg to 40mg per mat. It is crucial to ensure the product complies with WHO (World Health Organization) guidelines for household insecticides. For B2B buyers, verifying MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) and Pesticide Registration Certificates is mandatory to ensure the product is safe for indoor use and meets the regulatory requirements of the destination country.

Standard mosquito repellent mats are designed to provide protection for 8 to 12 hours. You should request Bio-efficacy Test Reports from the supplier to confirm the 'knockdown' rate and mortality rate against specific mosquito species like Aedes aegypti. The mat should maintain a stable release rate of the active ingredient throughout the heating cycle without emitting pungent smoke or irritating odors, which is a key indicator of high-quality solvent carriers.

If you are purchasing mats to be used with specific heaters, you must ensure the physical dimensions (typically 35mm x 22mm x 2.8mm) fit standard heating slots. Furthermore, the evaporation temperature of the mat must align with the heater's surface temperature (usually 150°C to 165°C). Incompatibility can lead to either ineffective repellent release if the temperature is too low, or charring and fire hazards if the temperature is too high.

To prevent the degradation of active ingredients, mats must be sealed in high-barrier aluminum foil packaging. For bulk shipping, ensure the outer cartons are moisture-proof and heat-resistant. Since these are chemical products, they should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse away from food and reach of children. Proper labeling with batch numbers and expiration dates (usually 2-3 years) is essential for inventory management.

Mosquito repellent mats are classified as pesticides or biocides in most jurisdictions (e.g., EPA in the USA, BPR in the EU). Importing these without proper local registration can lead to immediate seizure by customs. Always confirm that the supplier on Made-in-China.com can provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and has experience with the specific toxicological data required by your country's environmental or health ministry.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods pass inspection. For quality assurance, it is highly recommended to hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Random Sampling Test before the final balance payment. This test should focus on the active ingredient content and packaging integrity to avoid receiving sub-standard or expired stock.

Mosquito mats may be classified as Dangerous Goods (DG) depending on the concentration of chemicals and the carrier's policy. You must ensure the supplier provides a UN3077 or UN3082 classification if applicable, and a Transport Safety Certificate. For shipping to Africa or Southeast Asia, choose FCL (Full Container Load) over LCL to minimize handling and reduce the risk of cross-contamination with other consumer goods.

Focus your negotiation on MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) and Formulation Customization. If you are targeting a premium market, negotiate for fragrance-free or organic-based carriers. For high-volume buyers, seek a tiered pricing structure where the unit price drops by 10-15% when moving from 100,000 units to 500,000 units. Always request pre-production samples to be tested in your local environment before committing to a mass production contract.
