Oxygen sensor for nissan manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize OEM compatibility by verifying the specific Nissan Part Number (e.g., 22690 or 226A0 series). Key technical factors include the sensor type (Zirconia vs. Wideband/Air-Fuel Ratio), heating element resistance (typically 2-15 ohms), and connector pin configuration (usually 3 or 4 pins for Nissan). Ensure the housing is made of SUS310 stainless steel to withstand high-temperature exhaust gases and prevent corrosion.

Look for suppliers who utilize high-quality ceramic elements and platinum electrodes to ensure precise signal output. The sensor should be rated for at least 80,000 to 100,000 kilometers. Demand 100% factory testing reports, specifically focusing on response time (ms) and voltage output stability. Suppliers adhering to IATF 16949:2016 automotive quality management standards are highly preferred.

For the US market, sensors must support OBD-II (On-Board Diagnostics) protocols to ensure the Check Engine Light functions correctly. For the EU, compliance with CE marking and RoHS directives (restricting hazardous substances) is essential. Additionally, ensure the product meets EPA or Euro 4/5/6 emission standards to guarantee the vehicle passes local environmental inspections.

It is critical to specify the position: Upstream (Sensor 1) measures air-fuel ratio for engine management, while Downstream (Sensor 2) monitors catalytic converter efficiency. Upstream sensors for Nissan often require Wideband technology for newer models, whereas Downstream sensors are typically standard Zirconia types. Mixing these up will lead to ECU errors and increased fuel consumption.

Always request a pre-shipment sample for lab testing. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure payment is only released after quality verification. Verify if the supplier is an Audited Supplier with a verified manufacturing plant to avoid 'trading companies' that lack quality control over the production line.

For oxygen sensors, tiered pricing is common; aim for a 15-20% discount on volumes exceeding 500 units. If you are a startup, negotiate a lower MOQ (e.g., 10-50 units) by offering to pay a slightly higher unit price for the first 'trial' batch. Always clarify if the price includes neutral packaging or custom branded boxes.

Oxygen sensors contain fragile ceramic components. Ensure the supplier uses anti-static bubble wrap and individual hard-box packaging. For international shipping, request double-walled corrugated master cartons and palletization for bulk orders to prevent vibration damage during sea or air transit. Insurance (CIF terms) is highly recommended for high-value electronic shipments.

Confirm the correct HS Code (typically 9027.10) to calculate import duties accurately. Be aware of anti-dumping duties or specific trade barriers in your region (such as Section 301 tariffs in the US). Ensure the supplier provides a clear Certificate of Origin to help you benefit from any existing Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
