I have found results from1000+products and300+suppliers aboutPortable shower room
When sourcing portable shower rooms, prioritize High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors for the walls to prevent cracking and fading under sun exposure. For the base, ensure it features an anti-slip texture and a reinforced chassis capable of supporting at least 200kg. If the unit includes a frame, galvanized steel or anodized aluminum is essential to prevent rust in high-moisture environments.
Buyers should choose between direct-drain systems (standard floor waste) and self-contained units with integrated waste tanks. Ensure the plumbing fixtures use standardized thread sizes (e.g., 1/2" or 3/4" BSP/NPT) to ensure compatibility with local water supply hoses. For luxury or indoor-use models, look for integrated water heating systems that carry CE or UL certification for electrical safety.
For the North American market, look for CSA or UPC compliance regarding plumbing components. In the EU, CE marking is mandatory for units with electrical water heaters or pumps. Additionally, ensure the materials are BPA-free and meet ISO 9001 quality management standards to guarantee consistent manufacturing across large batches.
Request a knock-down (KD) design to significantly reduce shipping costs; a well-designed unit should be assemblable by two people within 30-60 minutes using basic tools. Check if the supplier provides forklift pockets or crane lifting eyes at the base for easy relocation on construction sites or event venues.
The biggest risk is shipping damage due to the large, hollow nature of the product. Mitigate this by requiring reinforced corner protection and palletized packaging. Another risk is leakage; always demand a factory water-pressure test report and a 1-2% spare parts kit (seals, gaskets, and showerheads) with every bulk order.
Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for customized branding (OEM) at lower MOQs (e.g., 10-20 units) and request tiered pricing where the discount increases by 5-10% once you reach a full container load (FCL). Ask for a warranty extension to 24 months on structural components to ensure long-term reliability.
Due to the high volume-to-weight ratio, Sea Freight (FCL) is the only economically feasible method for bulk orders. To maximize container utilization, ask the supplier for nested loading (stacking components inside one another). For urgent samples, use LCL (Less than Container Load) but ensure the crate is fully enclosed plywood to prevent crushing.
Utilize Secured Trading services on Made-in-China.com to hold funds until shipping documents are verified. Hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI), specifically checking for watertightness, structural stability, and material thickness against the agreed-upon specifications.
