Pu handbag manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize Waterborne PU (DMF-free) or Microfiber PU for superior durability and eco-friendliness. Ensure the material thickness is at least 1.0mm to 1.4mm to prevent peeling. For hardware, specify zinc alloy with electroplating and an anti-oxidation coating to ensure zippers and buckles do not tarnish or rust over time.

For the EU, products must comply with REACH regulations, specifically testing for phthalates, lead, and cadmium content. For the US market, adherence to California Proposition 65 and CPSIA (if marketed for children) is essential. Always request third-party lab reports (SGS or ITS) to verify that the synthetic materials are non-toxic.

Focus on the stitching density, which should be 7-9 stitches per inch for a premium finish. Check for edge oiling quality; it should be smooth, uniform, and resistant to cracking at low temperatures. The lining material should be high-density polyester or TC fabric to prevent tearing at stress points like handle attachments.

Ensure the design includes reinforced base plates for shape retention and multi-functional internal compartments (e.g., RFID-blocking pockets). For B2B orders, verify if the supplier offers OEM/ODM customization, allowing for logo embossing, custom pullers, and adjustable strap lengths to meet specific brand positioning.

Implement a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) protocol. Use a third-party service to check for color shading, glue residue, and symmetrical construction. On Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site verification of their production facilities and quality management systems.

Negotiate based on material yield and hardware costs. If you cannot meet a high MOQ for a specific color, suggest using stock colors already available in the factory to reduce the minimum to 100-300 pieces. For bulk orders, aim for a 10-15% discount by committing to a seasonal forecast rather than a one-off purchase.

For large volumes, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL) is most economical. To prevent deformation during transit, insist on stuffing the bags with recycled paper and using individual dust bags and silica gel packets to prevent mold. Ensure the outer cartons are 5-layer corrugated boxes with a bursting strength suitable for international stacking.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure payments are only released after the buyer confirms receipt or the inspection report is approved. Avoid direct transfers to private accounts; always use Corporate Bank Accounts that match the supplier's registered business license.
