R7s lamp manufacturers

When sourcing LED R7s lamps, the most critical factor is physical dimensions (diameter and length). Traditional halogen R7s bulbs are slim, while LED versions are often thicker due to heat sinks and drivers. Ensure the diameter (typically 22mm to 28mm) fits the buyer's fixture housing. Additionally, verify the luminous efficacy (lm/W); high-quality LED R7s lamps should offer at least 100-120 lm/W to ensure energy savings without sacrificing brightness.

For B2B procurement, prioritize suppliers who provide CE, RoHS, and ErP certifications for the European market, or UL/ETL listing for North America. Specifically, check for flicker-free drivers (Pst LM ≤ 1.0 and SVM ≤ 0.4) to ensure eye comfort and compliance with the latest EU Ecodesign requirements. Requesting an IES test report is essential to verify the actual lumen output and beam angle.

Because R7s lamps are often used in enclosed or semi-enclosed fixtures, heat dissipation is vital. Look for lamps with ceramic bodies or high-thermal conductivity aluminum substrates, which are superior to plastic for heat management. For high-wattage versions (above 15W), ensure the product has ventilation holes or advanced COB (Chip on Board) technology to prevent lumen depreciation and extend the lifespan to the rated 30,000 - 50,000 hours.

Not all R7s LED lamps are dimmable. You must specify 'Dimmable' requirements in your RFQ. Even then, compatibility with TRIAC (leading-edge or trailing-edge) dimmers varies. It is recommended to ask the supplier for a dimmer compatibility list or request samples to test against the specific dimming infrastructure used in the project to avoid buzzing or flickering issues.

The primary risk is specification mismatch, particularly regarding the length (78mm vs 118mm vs 189mm). Another risk is fragility during transit; R7s lamps, especially those with glass covers, require reinforced inner packaging and drop-tested master cartons. Always use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to mitigate payment risks and ensure the goods match the agreed-upon technical specifications before final disbursement.

Negotiate for a warranty period of at least 2-3 years and define the 'failure rate' threshold (e.g., less than 0.3%). For bulk orders, insist on a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third party. On Made-in-China.com, look for 'Audited Suppliers' who have undergone on-site verification of their manufacturing capabilities and QC processes to ensure they can handle high-volume consistency.

Ensure the supplier uses anti-static packaging and moisture-proof barriers. For sea freight, specify protection against high humidity and temperature fluctuations in the container, which can affect electronic drivers. For urgent samples or small batches, air express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) is preferred, but ensure the HS Code (typically 8539.52 for LED lamps) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays and ensure accurate duty application.
