Rug + carpet washing machine manufacturers

When sourcing for B2B purposes, prioritize automated multi-brush systems (typically 4 to 8 circular brushes) to ensure deep cleaning. Key specs include adjustable brush pressure to accommodate different pile heights, stainless steel (AISI 304) frames for corrosion resistance against detergents, and variable speed conveyor belts. Ensure the machine features a high-speed centrifugal wringer or extraction system, as reducing moisture to below 5% is critical for preventing mold during the drying phase.

For global trade, the machine must carry the CE Marking to meet European safety, health, and environmental requirements. If exporting to North America, look for UL (Underwriters Laboratories) or ETL certification for electrical components. Additionally, ensure the manufacturer complies with ISO 9001:2015 for quality management and provides a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) to facilitate customs clearance and ensure operational safety.

For high-volume service centers processing over 100 square meters daily, a fully automatic horizontal washing line is essential to minimize labor costs and ensure consistency. For specialized rug galleries dealing with delicate, handmade silk or antique rugs, a manual single-brush machine with adjustable RPM is preferred to prevent fiber damage. Always verify if the machine supports PLC control systems (like Siemens or Delta) for programmable washing cycles tailored to different fabric types.

To ensure a lifespan of 10+ years, the machine should have centralized lubrication points for easy bearing maintenance. Buyers should request a spare parts kit including extra brushes, nozzles, and belts. It is vital to check the water filtration and recycling compatibility, as many regions now mandate wastewater treatment before discharge into municipal systems.

The biggest risks are damage during transit and electrical incompatibility. Ensure the supplier uses seaworthy vacuum packaging and reinforced wooden crates to prevent rust from sea air. Always confirm the voltage and frequency (e.g., 380V/50Hz vs 220V/60Hz) before production, as using transformers post-purchase can reduce motor efficiency and void warranties.

Utilize the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods are shipped. Negotiate a payment structure of 30% deposit and 70% balance after a successful FAT (Factory Acceptance Test). Request a video inspection or hire a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek to conduct a pre-shipment inspection to verify the machine's functionality and build quality.

Due to the dimensions of automatic carpet washers, they usually require Flat Rack containers or 40ft HQ containers. Use FOB (Free On Board) terms if you have a reliable freight forwarder who can manage local customs, or CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) if you want the supplier to handle insurance. Ensure the HS Code (typically 8451.40) is correctly declared to avoid tariff penalties and check for any Anti-Dumping Duties applicable to machinery in your specific country.
