Soft plush giraffe manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize crystal super-soft velboa or high-grade PV fleece for the outer fabric to ensure a skin-friendly touch. The internal stuffing must be 100% premium PP cotton (polypropylene), which provides excellent resilience and prevents deformation after vacuum compression. Ensure the materials are hypoallergenic and free from lead or phthalates.

For the US market, products must comply with ASTM F963 and CPSIA standards, requiring a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC). For the EU, the EN71 (Parts 1, 2, and 3) certification and CE marking are mandatory. Ensure the supplier provides valid test reports from accredited third-party labs like SGS, ITS, or TUV.

Focus on the stitching density; high-quality plush toys should have at least 8-10 stitches per inch to prevent seam bursting. For giraffes with long necks, check for internal reinforcement (such as plastic skeletons or high-density stuffing) to ensure the neck stays upright. Perform a pull test on small parts like plastic eyes or ribbons to ensure they withstand at least 90N of force to prevent choking hazards.

Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com usually offer private labeling (woven labels), custom hangtags, and embroidery logos. You can also request customized heights (ranging from 20cm to 200cm) and specific fabric patterns (spotted vs. solid). Ask for CAD or 3D mockups before physical sampling to save time and costs.

Plush toys are 'light cargo' with high volume. You should request vacuum packaging to reduce the volume by up to 70%, significantly lowering sea freight costs. However, ensure the supplier uses high-resilience stuffing so the product recovers its shape within 24-48 hours after unpacking.

The primary risks include material substitution (using recycled cotton instead of virgin PP cotton) and non-compliance with chemical standards. To mitigate this, use Trade Assurance services on Made-in-China.com and hire a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) service to verify the 'needle detection' process, ensuring no broken needles remain inside the toys.

Standard MOQs for custom plush toys are usually 500-1,000 pieces. For initial market testing, look for suppliers offering 'Ready-to-Ship' items with MOQs as low as 10-50 pieces. When negotiating bulk orders (5,000+ units), aim for a 15-20% price reduction by optimizing the packaging method and raw material procurement timing.

Always verify the supplier's Audit Reports and Business License on their Made-in-China.com profile. Avoid direct transfers to private bank accounts; instead, use secured payment channels provided by the platform. Clearly define the Quality Acceptance Criteria (AQL 2.5/4.0) in the formal Proforma Invoice (PI) before making the deposit.
