Telescopic camera pole manufacturers

For heights exceeding 5 meters, Carbon Fiber is the industry standard due to its high strength-to-weight ratio and rigidity, which minimizes swaying in windy conditions. For budget-conscious projects under 3 meters, Anodized Aluminum Alloy offers a balance of durability and cost-effectiveness. Ensure the pole features anti-rotation tube designs to prevent the camera from spinning during operation.

Professional buyers should prioritize Flip-Lock (Lever Lock) systems for quick deployment or Heavy-Duty Twist Locks with internal expansion sleeves for maximum load security. Ensure the locks are made of reinforced nylon or CNC-machined aluminum to prevent cracking under temperature fluctuations. Adjustable tension screws are a critical feature for long-term maintenance.

The top mounting screw must be a standard 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 stainless steel thread. For heavy payloads, look for poles with a load capacity rating of at least 2kg at full extension. Additionally, check for integrated cable management (internal routing) if using wired inspection cameras or microphones to prevent snagging.

If used near power lines, the pole must have non-conductive properties (Fiberglass is preferred over Carbon Fiber for electrical safety). For international trade, ensure the product meets REACH and RoHS standards for chemical safety in plastics and coatings. If the pole includes a tripod base, it should pass stability tilt tests to prevent equipment damage.

Telescopic poles are long and prone to bending or crushing. Insist that the supplier uses thick-walled cardboard tubes or wooden crates for outer packaging. Request EPE foam padding between each section. On Made-in-China.com, you can utilize Secured Trading Services to ensure the goods are inspected for structural integrity before the final payment is released.

Focus on MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) vs. Customization. Many suppliers offer lower prices if you accept standard lengths (e.g., 6m, 8m, 10m). If you require OEM branding or custom attachments, negotiate based on a staged volume commitment to reduce the initial unit cost. Always ask for a sample at a discounted rate to verify the rigidity of the carbon fiber weave.

Telescopic poles are typically classified under HS Code 7616.99 (Aluminum articles) or 6815.10 (Carbon Fiber articles). Verify the specific duty rates for your country (e.g., Section 301 tariffs in the US). Ensure the supplier provides a detailed Packing List and Commercial Invoice that clearly states the material composition to avoid customs delays.

Poles exceeding 1.2 meters when collapsed often incur 'oversize' surcharges from couriers like DHL/FedEx. For bulk orders, LCL (Less than Container Load) sea freight is significantly cheaper. For urgent mid-sized orders, consider Air Freight with 'Special Goods' handling to ensure the long packages are not placed at the bottom of heavy stacks.
