Tractor 90 hp price manufacturers

When assessing the price of a 90 HP tractor, you must look beyond the horsepower. Key factors include the engine type (4-cylinder turbocharged is standard), torque reserve, and transmission system (e.g., 12F+12R shuttle shift vs. basic sliding gear). Ensure the tractor features a dual-stage clutch and multi-way hydraulic valves to support various implements. A higher price often reflects premium components like Carraro axles or LUK clutches, which significantly improve long-term reliability.

Compliance is critical for customs clearance and road legality. Ensure the supplier provides OECD testing reports for performance validation. For the US market, EPA Tier 4 Final emission standards are mandatory, while the EU requires Stage V compliance. Additionally, verify that the tractor has a ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structure) or FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) certification to meet international safety labor laws.

4WD (Four-Wheel Drive) models typically command a 15-25% price premium over 2WD models. However, for a 90 HP machine, 4WD is highly recommended as it provides superior traction in wet or hilly terrain, reduces tire slippage, and increases fuel efficiency during heavy-duty plowing. 2WD is only economically feasible for light transport or dry-land hay raking.

For paddy field operations, prioritize tractors with high ground clearance and specialized paddy tires. For orchard work, look for narrow-body designs. If the tractor is intended for heavy tillage, ensure it has adjustable wheel tracks and a high hydraulic lifting capacity (typically ≥15 kN). The inclusion of an air-conditioned cabin will increase the price but is essential for operator productivity in extreme climates.

Always request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) conducted by a third-party agency like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Specifically, ask for a video of the tractor performing a load test and a functional check of the PTO (Power Take-Off). When sourcing via Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone comprehensive on-site verification of their manufacturing capabilities.

Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Ask for a spare parts package (filters, belts, seals) to be included in the initial price, which can save you 5-10% in maintenance costs later. For bulk orders of 3 units or more (fitting into a 40HC container), you can typically negotiate a volume discount of 8-12%.

Tractors are usually shipped via Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessels or Flat Rack containers. However, to save costs, many buyers choose SKD (Semi-Knocked Down) packing in standard containers. This reduces freight volume and may also lower import tariffs in certain countries that distinguish between 'complete vehicles' and 'machinery parts'.

Use Secured Payment services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after proof of shipment. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. Ensure the Proforma Invoice (PI) clearly states the engine serial number, chassis number, and warranty terms (minimum 12-24 months) before making the down payment.
