Tv main board manufacturers

Selecting a TV main board requires precise matching of the SoC (System on Chip) and Panel Interface. You must verify if the board supports LVDS, V-by-One, or eDP interfaces based on the screen resolution (HD, FHD, or 4K). For smart TVs, prioritize boards with at least 1.5GB RAM and 8GB ROM to ensure smooth operation of the Android OS or proprietary firmware. Additionally, ensure the backlight voltage and current output of the integrated constant current board match your specific LED panel requirements to prevent screen burnout.

For global distribution, the main board must support the digital broadcasting standards of the target region, such as DVB-T2/S2 (Europe/Africa), ATSC (North America), or ISDB-T (South America). Compliance with CE, RoHS, and FCC is mandatory to ensure electromagnetic compatibility and environmental safety. Furthermore, check for HDMI HDCP 2.2 decryption support if the board is intended for 4K content streaming, as lack of this will result in black screens on protected content.

Request suppliers to provide AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and ICT (In-Circuit Test) reports for every batch. High-quality boards use solid capacitors which offer better heat resistance and a longer lifespan compared to electrolytic ones. Ensure the board has undergone a high-temperature aging test (usually 48 hours at 45°C) to identify early-stage component failures. For B2B buyers, a defect rate of less than 0.3% is the industry benchmark for premium tier-1 manufacturers.

A professional supplier on Made-in-China.com should provide Firmware/Software customization, including boot logo changes, default language settings, and pre-installed APKs. They should also offer structural design files (STEP or CAD) to ensure the board's ports (HDMI, USB, RJ45) align perfectly with your TV's plastic shell. Verify if the supplier provides remote technical support for debugging software issues during the assembly phase.

The primary risk is firmware incompatibility, where the board hardware is functional but the software does not match the panel's 'Project ID' or resolution. Another risk is Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) damage during shipping; ensure the supplier uses anti-static shielding bags and robust outer packaging. To mitigate transaction risks, use secured payment terms and conduct a pre-shipment inspection to verify that the hardware version matches the approved sample.

Focus on the BOM (Bill of Materials) transparency. Negotiate based on the brand of the main chipset (e.g., Realtek, Novatek, or MTK) as this dictates the base cost. For orders exceeding 2,000 units, you can typically negotiate a 5-8% price reduction or request the supplier to include 1% 'free-of-charge' (FOC) spare units to cover potential RMA issues, which is more cost-effective than shipping individual replacements later.

TV main boards are sensitive to moisture and physical shock. Request vacuum packaging with desiccant for sea freight to prevent oxidation of the solder joints. When shipping to specific regions, ensure the HS Code (typically 8529.90) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays. For urgent repairs or small batches, air freight is recommended to minimize the time the electronics spend in humid port environments.
