Wholesale slush bottle manufacturers

When sourcing slush bottles, prioritize BPA-free PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) or PP (Polypropylene) materials. Ensure the supplier provides FDA (US) or LFGB (EU) food-grade certification. For reusable options, look for high-density walls to prevent cracking under freezing temperatures and UV-resistant additives if the bottles will be used in outdoor settings.

Focus on the neck diameter; a wider opening (at least 38mm to 50mm) allows for faster filling and easier cleaning. The straw hole seal must be tight to prevent leakage during transport. For 'Yard' or 'Novelty' shapes, verify the base stability to ensure the bottle does not tip over when filled with heavy frozen beverages.

Beyond food contact safety, if the bottles include LED lights or electronic components, they must comply with RoHS and CE standards. For products intended for children, ensure compliance with EN71 or CPSIA to guarantee there are no small parts hazards or sharp edges that could cause injury.

Request Silk Screen Printing or Heat Transfer Printing for long-lasting logos. Ask the supplier for a tape adhesion test report to ensure the ink does not peel when exposed to condensation or sub-zero temperatures. For high-end branding, In-Mold Labeling (IML) is the most durable but requires a higher MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity).

Slush bottles are lightweight but bulky, making them prone to crushing. Insist on 5-layer corrugated export cartons and individual polybagging to prevent surface scratches. Request that the supplier uses palletization for LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments to minimize manual handling risks.

Start by requesting a tiered pricing structure based on volume (e.g., 1k, 5k, and 10k units). Negotiate for free mold customization if your order exceeds a certain threshold. Always verify the supplier's Audited Supplier status on Made-in-China.com to ensure they have undergone third-party verification of their manufacturing capabilities.

Use Secured Trading Services provided by the platform to protect your payment. Never wire the full amount upfront; a standard 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) is recommended. Hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify quantity and quality before final payment.

Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties or specific plastic taxes in regions like the UK or EU. Ensure your HS Code (typically 3924.10) is correctly declared on the Commercial Invoice and Packing List. For large volumes, FOB (Free On Board) is usually more cost-effective as it allows you to use your own freight forwarder to manage local customs clearance.
