Xiaomi su7 max vehicle manufacturers

The Xiaomi SU7 Max is a high-performance electric sedan featuring a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with a peak power of 495kW (673PS) and 838N·m torque. It utilizes the Xiaomi 800V Silicon Carbide (SiC) high-voltage platform, enabling a 0-100km/h acceleration in 2.78 seconds. When sourcing, verify the battery capacity is the 101kWh CATL Qilin Battery (NMC), which provides a CLTC range of up to 800km. Ensure the vehicle includes the Xiaomi Pilot autonomous driving system powered by dual NVIDIA DRIVE Orin chips.

As the SU7 Max is primarily manufactured for the Chinese domestic market, buyers must ensure it meets local homologation requirements. This includes checking for ECE (Economic Commission for Europe) regulations or DOT/FMVSS standards if applicable to your region. You must verify the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and ensure the vehicle's charging interface (GB/T standard) is compatible with your local infrastructure or that a certified adapter/conversion solution is available. Additionally, confirm the software language settings and connectivity (4G/5G bands) are functional in the destination country.

The SU7 Max runs on Xiaomi HyperOS, which is deeply integrated with the Snapdragon 8295 chip. For cross-border buyers, it is critical to ask the supplier if the infotainment system supports English or other local languages, as many domestic units are locked to Chinese. Check if OTA (Over-the-Air) updates will function outside of China and whether the Xiaomi Home IoT integration requires a Chinese server account. Confirm the availability of Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, as these may not be natively supported in the domestic version.

The most significant risks include warranty invalidation (most manufacturer warranties are only valid in the country of origin) and lack of authorized service centers. To mitigate this, negotiate for a spare parts package (e.g., common wear items, sensors) to be included in the shipment. Use Made-in-China.com's secured payment and inspection services to ensure the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) matches the documentation before the final balance is paid.

Vehicles should be shipped via Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessels for maximum safety or in 40ft High Cube containers with professional lashing to prevent movement. Since the SU7 Max contains a large lithium battery, it is classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods. Ensure the supplier provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a UN38.3 test report. The battery state of charge (SoC) should ideally be kept between 20% and 30% during transit to comply with international maritime safety regulations.

Buyers must calculate the Total Landed Cost, including Import Duties, VAT, and Luxury Taxes, which can exceed 20-100% depending on the country (e.g., EU anti-subsidy duties or US Section 301 tariffs). Ensure the supplier provides a Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Original Bill of Lading. It is highly recommended to use Incoterms 2020 like CIF or DAP and work with a freight forwarder experienced in EV-specific customs clearance to avoid costly port delays.
