Yihui painting manufacturers

When sourcing Yihui paintings, buyers should focus on the medium and substrate quality. Ensure the use of high-grade acrylic or oil paints that are UV-resistant to prevent fading. The canvas should be heavyweight (380g+ cotton or linen) to avoid sagging. For framed pieces, verify that the inner stretchers are made of kiln-dried pine or fir to prevent warping in different climates. Additionally, check for hand-painted textures versus printed bases, as 100% hand-painted works command a higher market premium.

Compliance is critical for cross-border trade. You must ensure the paints used are non-toxic and eco-friendly, specifically meeting REACH (EU) or ASTM D-4236 (US) standards. If the paintings include wooden frames, verify that the supplier provides a Fumigation Certificate and complies with CARB Phase 2 or EPA TSCA Title VI regarding formaldehyde emissions in engineered wood components.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer extensive OEM/ODM services. This includes custom sizes, color palette adjustments to match specific interior design trends, and private labeling (adding your brand logo to the back of the canvas or packaging). You can also request gallery-wrapped edges (where the painting continues around the sides) to allow for frameless display, which reduces shipping weight and costs.

Request the supplier to perform a cross-cut adhesion test to ensure the paint layers won't peel over time. For high-humidity markets, ask for anti-fungal treatment on the canvas. It is also advisable to request high-resolution photos or videos of the finished work before shipment to verify that the artistic quality matches the approved sample.

The biggest risks are moisture damage and physical impact. To mitigate this, insist on professional export packaging: each painting should be wrapped in acid-free paper, covered with bubble wrap, and secured with protective plastic corners. For bulk sea freight, use heavy-duty 5-layer corrugated master cartons and consider palletization with shrink wrap to prevent shifting and dampness during transit.

Focus on volume-based pricing tiers and sample fee rebates. Negotiate for the sample cost to be deducted from the first bulk order. Additionally, discuss payment terms such as a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after a third-party pre-shipment inspection (PSI). This ensures the supplier maintains quality standards throughout the production run.

Always use secure payment methods and consider utilizing the trade security services provided by Made-in-China.com. This protects your funds until the supplier provides proof of shipment. Ensure all specifications, including lead times, packaging standards, and return policies for damaged goods, are clearly documented in a Proforma Invoice (PI) or formal Sales Contract.

To avoid legal issues, ensure the supplier has the rights to the designs or provides original creations. If you are providing your own designs, sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Verify that the supplier does not use copyrighted imagery without a license, as this could lead to customs seizures or lawsuits in your destination country.
