Solid full doll manufacturers

When sourcing solid full dolls, the primary materials are TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) and Medical-Grade Silicone. TPE is more cost-effective and soft, offering a realistic skin feel, while Silicone is more durable, heat-resistant, and hypoallergenic. Ensure the internal structure uses a stainless steel or aluminum alloy skeleton with articulated joints to allow for a wide range of motion and stability during posing.

As these products come into prolonged skin contact, they must comply with REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) and RoHS standards to ensure they are free from harmful phthalates and heavy metals. For the US market, ensure materials are FDA-compliant or have passed ASTM safety testing. Always request Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) from the supplier.

Focus on the mold precision and hand-painting techniques. High-end dolls feature multi-layer skin painting (including visible veins and capillaries) and implanted hair (mohair or human hair) rather than cheap wigs. Request high-definition videos or live factory inspections via Made-in-China.com to verify that the physical product matches the promotional renders.

A capable manufacturer should offer OEM/ODM services, including customizable head sculpts, eye colors, skin tones, and body measurements. Advanced suppliers also provide options for integrated heating systems, internal voice modules, and standing feet upgrades. Ensure the supplier can handle private labeling for your brand's packaging.

Due to the sensitive nature and weight of the product, use discreet, plain brown corrugated boxes with no identifying marks or sensitive keywords on the outer label. Ensure the doll is secured with custom-fit EPE foam to prevent skeletal damage during transit. For shipping to the US or Europe, Sea Freight (DDP) is the most cost-effective for bulk orders, while Air Freight is faster for samples but significantly more expensive due to volumetric weight.

The biggest risk is 'Bait and Switch', where the supplier shows high-end photos but ships low-quality TPE versions. Mitigate this by using Trade Assurance on Made-in-China.com and hiring third-party inspection services (like V-Trust or QIMA) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). Check for joint tightness, skin tears, and chemical odors before the final payment is released.

Focus on long-term volume commitments rather than one-off purchases to secure lower unit prices. Negotiate for spare parts (such as extra hands, cleaning kits, or repair glue) to be included for free. If ordering in bulk, ask for a tiered pricing structure where the price drops significantly once you hit the 50 or 100-unit threshold.

Always conduct transactions through secured payment channels provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure your funds are protected until delivery is confirmed. If you are providing custom designs, sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a Non-Compete Agreement to prevent the factory from selling your unique head sculpts or designs to other buyers.
