Wholesale korean jacket manufacturers

Korean fashion typically emphasizes oversized silhouettes, dropped shoulders, and minimalist aesthetics. When sourcing, prioritize fabrics like high-density TR (Tetoron Rayon) blends for blazers, premium nylon with water-resistant coatings for windbreakers, or heavyweight cotton (300-400 GSM) for hoodies and casual jackets. Ensure the stitching density is at least 10-12 stitches per inch to maintain the structural integrity required for the 'boxy' look.

Korean sizing (often labeled as Free Size or 95, 100, 105) tends to be smaller than US/EU standards. You must request a detailed size chart in centimeters and verify the chest circumference and sleeve length. For B2B buyers, it is highly recommended to customize labels with localized sizing (S/M/L/XL) and provide fit-type descriptions (e.g., Slim Fit vs. Oversized) to reduce return rates.

Ensure all products comply with REACH (EU) or CPSIA (US) regulations regarding lead content in zippers/buttons and the use of AZO-free dyes. For functional jackets, request colorfastness to light and washing (Grade 4 or higher) reports. If sourcing eco-friendly lines, verify GRS (Global Recycled Standard) or OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certifications to guarantee the absence of harmful substances.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer private labeling, custom embroidery, and bespoke hardware (branded zippers/buttons). For Korean-style jackets, tech packs are essential for accurate sampling. Typical MOQs for custom colors start at 300-500 pieces, while adding a brand tag to existing designs can often be done for as few as 50-100 pieces.

Always order a pre-production sample (PPS) before the full run. Use a third-party inspection service (like SGS or Intertek) to perform an In-Line or Final Random Inspection (FRI). Focus on the AQL 2.5/4.0 standard to check for fabric defects, shading issues, and loose threads. Never release the final 70% payment until the inspection report is approved.

Negotiate based on Total Volume rather than single SKUs to lower the unit price. Ask for tiered pricing (e.g., 500, 1000, 5000 units). If the price is firm, negotiate for better payment terms (e.g., 30% deposit / 70% after BL copy) or free spare parts like extra buttons and zippers. Mentioning your intent for a long-term partnership often unlocks 'VIP' pricing.

Apparel is high-volume but relatively lightweight. Use vacuum packaging to reduce the volumetric weight and save up to 20-30% on air freight costs. For large sea shipments, ensure the supplier uses desiccant bags (silica gel) in every carton to prevent mildew and moisture damage during long transit times through humid tropical zones.

Utilize the Secured Trading services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payment. Verify the supplier's Audit Report and Business License on the platform to ensure they are a Gold Member or Audited Supplier. Avoid using untraceable payment methods; always use L/C (Letter of Credit) or T/T through official corporate accounts.
